Appropriate actions. The four rounds of Mani, etc., and especially the Vajra words of Je Dus Khyen. Recite the six-line prayer without distraction, counting the recitations. Finally, Pray to the glorious Lama and others to bestow empowerment, and then all the surrounding disciples dissolve into light and merge into the lineage lamas. The lineage lamas gradually dissolve one into another, dissolve into light, and merge into the root lama. From the forehead, which has become the essence of all the Jewels, white light radiates and dissolves into one's own brow. The obscurations of the body, such as killing, are purified. The vase empowerment is received. One is empowered to practice the generation stage during the path. One is made fortunate to attain the Nirmanakaya as a result. By analogy, from the Lama's throat, red light radiates and dissolves into one's own throat. The obscurations of speech, such as lying, are purified. The secret empowerment is received. One is empowered to practice the channels and winds. One is made fortunate to attain the Sambhogakaya. From the heart center, blue light radiates and dissolves into the heart. The obscurations of mind, such as wrong views, are purified. The wisdom empowerment is received. One is empowered to practice meditative absorption. One is made fortunate to attain the Dharmakaya. From all three places, white, red, and blue lights radiate and dissolve into the forehead, throat, and heart. The obscurations of the three doors, which are included in the cognitive obscurations, afflictive obscurations, and meditative absorption, are purified equally. The fourth empowerment is received. One is empowered to practice Mahamudra, the inseparability of samsara and nirvana. One is made fortunate to attain the Svabhavikakaya. Again, due to strong devotion, the Lama's face is filled with joy and a smile, and he dissolves like a beam of light, merging from one's crown into the heart. Meditate that the Lama's mind and one's own mind are inseparable, without being interrupted by conceptual thoughts, and let the mind naturally rest in its unaltered state. When rising from that state, whatever appears, regard it as the various forms of the Lama's body; whatever sound is heard, regard it as the self-sound of the empty Nada; whatever thoughts arise in the mind, regard them as the self-display of the Vajra wisdom, and dedicate the merit. Also, during breaks between sessions, when walking, visualize the Lama seated on a lotus and moon cushion in the sky to the right, and circumambulate him. When eating and drinking, visualize the Lama seated in the center of a red lotus in the throat, and offer the food and drink as nectar. Regard all speech as supplication.

Supplication. Walking, sitting, acting, all are contemplated as serving the Guru. When sleeping, contemplate the Guru's life-size image residing in the heart, its light illuminating the body and dwelling, and go to sleep in that state. Upon waking, immediately visualize the Guru residing on the crown of the head, and generate faith, devotion, and supplication. Contemplate in the same way when staying. When using new dwellings, clothes, etc., first offer the best to the Guru, either materially or mentally. When sick, visualize nectar descending from the Guru's life-size image, washing away all illnesses. To purify illness, sins, and obscurations, believe that it arises from the Guru's blessings and cultivate joy. Even if demonic illusions arise, regard them as the play of the Guru's activity, encouraging oneself towards virtue. In short, whether happiness or suffering arises, contemplate it as the Guru's blessings and compassion, and use it as a support for increasing devotion. Do not seek other reliance or friends; this is the crucial point. In this context, generally speaking, whether practicing Secret Mantra Vajrayana, especially any key point of the Completion Stage, one must take the Guru's blessings as the path. Without the entry of blessings, the genuine path will not arise in the continuum. If a qualified Vajra Master meets a disciple with samaya, anchoring devotion in the heart, then even without other methods, supreme and common siddhis will be attained. Without devotion to the Guru, even if one completes the recitation and practice of the four tantra classes of Yidam, supreme siddhi will not be attained at all. For common siddhis, one must rely on many things such as longevity, wealth, power, and control. Some of these will not succeed, and even if some succeed slightly, they must be accomplished with great effort, so this is not a profound path. If unwavering devotion arises in the continuum, then clearing obstacles on the path, atonement, supreme and common attainments, all will be accomplished without reliance on others. This is the reason why it is called the profound path—Guru Yoga. For both Guru and disciple, lacking compassion, being easily angered, harboring resentment, being filled with arrogance, being attached to wealth and relatives, not restraining body and speech, and boasting are all great faults that must be abandoned. Especially prana, nadi, bindu, mudra, mantra
