Kasakya Le. Then, in order to purify sins through bathing, during the divine bathing, in the corridor of the visualized mandala, imagine a square bathing room with a crystal base, supported by two pillars in the front, spacious inside, surrounded by precious stones, filled with fragrant water possessing eight qualities, forming a pond that is no different from a mirror, where all the deities of the mandala reside. In the space in front, visualize many goddesses holding bathing vases, offering a bath to the deceased, and recite the verses. While wiping the body, wipe the body with the divine cloth "Panchalika," and visualize offering precious silk clothes and garlands of flowers to all the deities, offering clothes and ornaments. Pour the bathing water into the vase, and visualize washing the bodies of all the deities with the water from the vase, the bathing water transforming into the nature of the five wisdoms and the six paramitas. By bathing the deceased, imagine that the water of generosity paramita washes away the stain of miserliness accumulated by the deceased from beginningless time until now. Similarly, imagine that the water of each paramita washes away the stains that are contrary to it. During the "Glory of all Buddhas" section, visualize that through the power of the Three Jewels and their qualities and respective truths, the deceased's afflictions, the three poisons, are destroyed and purified, and bathe them. During the "Desire, hatred," etc., and the "Earth, water, fire, wind" sections, remember the qualities of the Three Jewels, and recite the truthful words that the four elements are the source of the three poisons, visualizing that the deceased's five poisons and three poisons are purified, and bathe them with the vase water. The purification of various substances and the arrangement of visualization sequences, because there is no source or basis, it is said in the oral tradition of Omniscient Dharmakara that Je Tsongkhapa himself did not do this. When reciting the auspicious verses about miserliness, etc., visualize that all the deities of the mandala are saying auspicious words and raining down white flowers, scattering vase water and flowers. These verses are entirely the Buddha's teachings from the sutras and tantras. Then, visualize the mandala deities in their respective positions, and the deceased, from the depths of their heart, with sincere faith, with their body

Countless emanations prostrate and contemplate offering the body, reciting the words of prostration. Then, purifying sins through empowerment, generally, the corpse and bones of the deceased are said to be the nine objects of empowerment, but now the empowerment is mainly performed on the name plaque, as if the deceased is dwelling at the eastern gate. One dwells on the right side of the eastern gate in the form of Vajrasattva, thinking that the empowerment is performed in the manner of the karma-vajra of the mandala, as explained during the self-entry of the complete empowerment. In the Purifying Tantra, it is said: 'O sons of the gods, those who have already fallen into the lower realms, also empower the name, also empower the image.' As it is said, relying on the name and image plaque to perform the empowerment is the main part of the practice, visualizing them as if the deceased is present, offering the mandala and reciting the repetitions, thinking of empowering them, considering them equal to the gods, this is the special point. Then, performing the post-offering of food, generally, the desirable objects are blessed with mantra, mudra, and samadhi, and offered and dedicated to all places of offering and places of giving, making them happy and satisfied. In particular, offering food to deceased parents and others according to the year, the way to obtain benefits can be known from the sutras, and it can also be known from the Sutra of the Noble Maudgalyayana Repaying the Kindness of His Mother, etc. Moreover, in the commentary on the Conduct Tantra, it is said that just as a dog is attached to a bone, they do not want to leave without dedicating the desirable objects, so the superiors perform the practice of dedicating desirable objects here, arranging food, drinks, silk, and other things that can be afforded, except for meat and alcohol. Bless the desirable objects with mantra, mudra, and samadhi, making them like a wish-fulfilling treasure, so that everything desired in the mind can appear, beautiful forms, pleasant sounds, fragrant smells, sweet tastes, and soft touches, thinking of filling the places of the five senses with stainless bliss, and dedicating them, because the beings of the bardo are satisfied by smell, so burn all kinds of food. Then, one's own self dissolves into the heart of the deity, and one holds the pride of being inseparable. Burning the plaque, from the body of the main deity of the five families in front of oneself, flames of wisdom e
