It is said that Gapo, after seeking help from all those who were capable without success, requested Zla-ba-zhon-nu (Moon Youth) to come there. Then, Jetsun Drolma (Venerable Tara) prophesied, "This is the result of breaking vows to a lama; even you cannot cure it, so pray to Palmo (Glorious Goddess)." According to this prophecy, he took a bhikshuni (nun) as a guide and the master and disciple went to the lakeside to pray. Just by blessing, the illness disappeared. He directly saw the Eleven-faced Avalokiteśvara. There, he received a small teaching of Avalokiteśvara. He requested the detailed practice method of the tantra from Zla-ba-zhon-nu (Moon Youth), and after fasting and meditating for three months, he actually transformed into the body of a noble being and attained supreme accomplishment. The Nepalese Pandit Pemyawa was an outstanding scholar of the royal lineage. Predicted by Manjushri, he went to India. He requested the teachings of the Eleven-faced Avalokiteśvara from Yeshe Zangpo and relied on alms for five years. Through practice, he saw the face (of the deity). He attained supreme siddhi (accomplishment) and passed away into the rainbow body. His disciple, Bodhisattva Zla-ba Gyaltsen (Moon Banner), was widely known to be the actual Avalokiteśvara. Many scholars and accomplished ones received prophecies of Avalokiteśvara, so there are many stories of them prostrating at his feet. He himself prayed for seven days in front of the Kyirong Lokeshvara statue, giving sight to a hundred blind people, building a hundred temples, repairing a hundred roads, and providing for the livelihood of a hundred monks. He prayed to the Thousand-Handed and Thousand-Eyed Avalokiteśvara and received the prophecy that these would be accomplished and that he would quickly attain enlightenment. There, he led four groups of monks to beg for alms, accumulating merit and gathering wealth. He built more than a hundred temples, ransomed more than three hundred lives and eyes, repaired many roads, and provided for the livelihood of about twelve hundred monks, accomplishing countless great virtuous deeds. At that time, when he went to a village in the south, a housewife asked for blessings. He also made tormas and dedications, and said, "Illness arises from past non-virtue, so cultivate patience and bodhicitta." The woman developed faith and, shedding tears, said, "Let alone the previous life, even in this life,
