He was known as Nyiphuk. Once, while he was fasting, he became ill in the middle of the night, as if his eyes were about to fall out. A white man said, "Five hundred lifetimes ago, you were born in southern India as a boatman, and this is the final result of spearing the eye of a large fish." Another time, his right cheek swelled up and the pain was unbearable, and as before, it was said that this was the final result of breaking a stone with the cheek of a buffalo nine hundred lifetimes ago. He performed immeasurable deeds of benefit there. He always fasted, and even when he was unwell, he did so during the three auspicious times. It was prophesied that immediately after his death, he would attain enlightenment in the western Pure Land of Sukhavati. On the eighth day of a certain month, when he was seventy-seven years old, he showed the manner of passing away after noon while fasting and keeping silent, and countless miraculous signs appeared. Surupa Dorje Gyalpo was born in Sur Yulgang. He was named Tsultrim Konchok. Awakened by karma, he met a siddha at the age of seven. He gradually became a monk, was proficient in the three vehicles, and was the best of monks. He said, "One dharma is enough for you alone," and then bestowed the empowerment and teachings of Avalokiteśvara. He vowed to fast until death, and fasted in one place for five consecutive years, thus passing thirty-six years. On the eighth day of the third month, he directly saw the noble Avalokiteśvara and was blessed to be inseparable from the body, speech, and mind of the noble one. His clairvoyance, miraculous powers, and deeds of benefit to others were inconceivable. He lived only by begging for alms and never ate meat. He fasted without interruption, and finally, after his death, his relics turned into relics, which were enshrined in a stupa, and it is said that even now, if one prays, proliferating relics will appear. Zhangton Drakjik was born in Trophu, and at the time of his birth, there was an earthquake and thunder, and because he was afraid of an enemy of his ancestors, he was given that name. After he became a monk, he studied scriptures and logic in Sakya and other places, and was known for his fame as a scholar. He was very proficient in the teachings of the Kadampa school, and Tara prophesied that he would manage a monastery with about five hundred monks, so from Bodhisattva Surupa

Instructions on the Eleventh Incarnation. After fasting and observing vows for three years and four months, on the night of the fifteenth, in the first part, he prostrated to the Twenty-One Taras. In the second part, the Eight Medicine Buddhas. In the third part, he saw the Noble One surrounded by many action deities. He was granted empowerment and blessings. It was prophesied: "Child, do not eat the food of devotees or the food of the dead, stay in a secluded mountain retreat, and if you can, take essences. If you cannot, then beg for alms and work for the benefit of sentient beings." There, according to the lama's instructions, after completing three years at the monastic seat, he immediately abandoned his robes and seat. In a secluded place in the upper part of the valley, where no one could see him, he fasted and observed vows for three months, and developed a severe fever for seven days. Thinking, "Am I going to die this time?" At dawn, Avalokiteśvara said to a certain Nalza Zi: "In a previous life, you were a fisherman in India who cooked fish alive in hot springs and ate them, so you suffered in the hell of boiling hot springs for billions of years. When my light touched you, you were reborn as a human, and after sixteen lifetimes, we established a connection, so this time I will help you, and this illness will purify the remaining obscurations." Saying this, he touched him with his hand, and he was freed from the illness. After that, he practiced even more diligently, and developed lung disease, losing consciousness for seventy days. He suppressed the lung disease with boiled ash water, sometimes with food, and sometimes with dried sheep dung. Without drinking a single drop of water, he stayed for seven months, and so on. For three years, he practiced diligently, meditating on the generation and completion stages of the Noble One, and attained accomplishment, being able to fly in the sky and reverse the flow of rivers, and displayed many inconceivable miracles. At the time of his passing, relics amounting to two bre were left behind, and his tongue and heart became two stupas. Jangpa Khenchen Tsi Dulwa: From a young age, he became a monk and mainly studied the Five Treatises of Maitreya. His study of the Dharma was extremely thorough, and he was an exemplary scholar and monk. His name was known as Thukje Jangchub. The fragrance of his discipline spread everywhere. Because of his great merit, he established monastic communities that gathered thousands of monks, and performed many great virtuous deeds. As prophesied by Tara, in Dosul, he requested the practice of the Eleven-Faced Avalokiteśvara from Zhangton Rinpoche and fasted and observed vows.
