As it is said, even committing the five heinous crimes, if one practices the conduct of mantra, one will attain enlightenment in this very life. As it is said, although it is a conditioned virtuous root, among the hundred deities of detachment, merely creating one deity mentioned in mantra is said to be of great merit. Therefore, the benefits of meditating on the generation and completion stages, which have the distinction of pacifying, increasing, subjugating, and destroying, need not be elaborated. Surely, the obscurations of karma and afflictions will quickly be exhausted, and both supreme and common accomplishments will be obtained in this life or in the bardo without delay. Temporarily, the body will have happiness, the speech will have power, and the mind will have the wisdom of realization. At the time of death, rainbows, relics, and earthquakes will occur. In particular, the eleven-faced Avalokiteśvara is the essence of all Buddhas, so by meditating on it, one meditates on all mandalas and wheels. The four colors of the faces accomplish the four activities of pacifying, increasing, subjugating, and destroying, and each hand has different benefits, etc., which are said to be limitless. These are the condensed benefits of fasting and the dhāraṇī mantra rituals mentioned in the tantras and dhāraṇīs. On top of that, there are many additional benefits in the practice and offering rituals of the oral instructions of the previous lamas, because the benefits of each of the seven limbs are inexhaustible. Fourth, the aftermath: In general, the life of mantra is the samaya, so if it is not protected, not only will the fruit of mantra not be achieved, but also various faults will occur in both this life and the next. If it is protected, then supreme accomplishments opposite to that will be obtained. That is, based on taking refuge in the Three Jewels, generating bodhicitta, and receiving empowerment in the mandala of one's own lineage, here, one should protect the vows of the action tantra's own system, the fourteen root downfalls of the secret general tantra, the lineages mentioned in Lekdrub, and the five of the Mañjuśrī Root Tantra, etc., but because there is not enough space to write, it should be known elsewhere. In particular, in the vows of Avalokiteśvara, the essence of the precious bodhisattva's instructions is: even if one is without fault, if others are angry, scolding, hitting, or exposing shortcomings, one should not retaliate. Possessing these four ascetic practices, with the body, one should not engage in hitting, defiling, robbing, or stealing; with speech, one should not engage in harsh words or slander; with the mind,

Whatever jealousy, harm, or malice arises, understand it as the blessing of the body, speech, and mind of the Noble One and the purification of your own obscurations. In short, whatever happiness or suffering arises, entrust yourself wholeheartedly to the Noble One. Visualize your own body and the bodies of all sentient beings as the Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara, your speech as the six-syllable mantra (Tibetan: ཡི་གེ་དྲུག་མ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: षडक्षरी, Sanskrit Romanized: ṣaḍakṣarī, Chinese literal meaning: six syllables), and your mind as the non-dual union of emptiness and compassion. If you do not diligently think and act only to repay kindness and benefit others, you will violate the vows of body, speech, and mind, and the heart of the Noble One will be ashamed, and blessings will go far away from us, so do not violate these. Learn to take on the suffering of others and give your own happiness and merit to others. With the Bodhicitta of thinking, 'For the sake of establishing all sentient beings in the state of Buddhahood by myself alone, I will do virtuous deeds,' do not be separated from this mind. Practice one session of the generation stage of the Noble One every day, and recite the Dharani mantra, preferably one hundred and eight times, moderately twenty-one times, and at least fifteen times. Combine the four modes of conduct with the yoga that you are accustomed to, and like a stream of virtuous practice, continuously accumulate merit and wisdom. The third fundamental chapter, the supplementary explanation of important matters, is: For the sake of protecting us, the helpless beings of the degenerate age, who are embraced by all the Buddhas of the past, present, and future, the Teacher, King Shakya Buddha, with great compassion, in countless billions of kalpas, for the sake of the meaning of each four-line verse, unreservedly gave up his body, life, and wealth, and underwent countless hardships, attained enlightenment, and well-spoken so many precious Dharma teachings. If we cannot even put into practice the meaning of a single four-line verse, then we, the followers, have displeased the kind Teacher. Therefore, it is very important to first explain and listen to the Dharma, and its benefits are: In the Lion Sutra of Maitreya, it is said: 'It is better to give away gold filling worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges than to explain a single verse in a bad age, its merit is unprecedented.' Also, as it is said in the Ornament of Dense Clouds: 'Manjushri, wherever there is a speaker of the Dharma, seeing him will purify the five heinous crimes. One should also make offerings to him, even if the speaker of the Dharma commits the five heinous crimes, do not be disgusted.'
