O noble objects of merit, please consider me with loving-kindness. I offer these offerings to you, please accept them and bestow your blessings upon me. The mandala mantra and aspiration prayer, as well as the pleasing mandala, etc., should be performed as usual. Then, if you wish to elaborate on the confession of sins, you can refer to the content from the "Golden Light Sutra": The Buddhas are the two-legged venerable ones, with hearts full of love and compassion. Whichever ones reside in the ten directions of the world, please be mindful of me. The sinful deeds I have committed in the past, those extremely terrible actions, now before the one with the ten powers, I confess them all. Not regarding parents as parents, not regarding Buddhas as Buddhas, not regarding virtuous deeds as virtuous deeds, the sins I have committed; due to the arrogance of wealth, the arrogance of lineage and possessions, and the arrogance of youth, the sins I have committed; not seeing the faults of wrongdoing, the wrong actions I have done, as well as wrongly thinking and speaking evil, the sins I have committed; acting with the mind of a child, with the ignorant darkness of mind, influenced by sinful friends, and the deluded mind of afflictions, indulging in play and amusement, controlled by sorrow and illness, and due to the fault of insatiable greed, the sins I have committed; associating with non-holy beings, due to jealousy, stinginess, deception, and the faults of deceit and poverty, the sins I have committed; in times of poverty and decline, fearing desires, and becoming not wealthy, the sins I have committed; controlled by the deceitful mind, controlled by desire and anger, and afflicted by hunger and thirst, the sins I have committed; for the sake of food and drink, for the sake of women, deception, and clothing, tormented by various afflictions, the sins I have committed; the sins of body, speech, and mind, accumulating three kinds of evil deeds, whatever has been done in this way, I confess it all. Towards the Sangha. Also towards the Bodhisattvas. All the acts of disrespect. I confess all of them. Also towards those who speak the sacred Dharma. Acts of disrespect. And also not showing respect towards the Dharma. I confess all of them. Because of my constant ignorance. I have abandoned the sacred Dharma. And not showing respect towards my parents. I confess all of them. Foolishness and childishness. And also desire, hatred, ignorance. Being obscured by pride and arrogance. I confess all of them. In the ten directions of the world. I make offerings to the Ten Powers. I will liberate all sentient beings in the ten directions. From all suffering. All the immeasurable sentient beings. I will establish them on the ten Bhumis. Even from dwelling on the ten Bhumis. May all become Thus Come Ones. Until from the ocean of suffering. Gradually all can sink completely. Even for each sentient being. I will practice for countless kalpas. That which is called the "Golden Light Sutra". All karmas are purified. This profound and subtle teaching. I will teach it to those sentient beings. Whoever in thousands of kalpas. Has committed extremely unbearable sins. With one thorough confession. All of them will be purified. Whoever's karmic obscurations. Can be quickly and completely exhausted. With the virtuous confession of the "Golden Light Sutra". After confessing these. With the mind of wisdom, I beseech the Buddhas. Please look upon me with compassion. With a compassionate heart. Please accept my faults. In hundreds of kalpas. All the sins I have committed in the past. Therefore, I feel sorrow. Afflicted by poverty, sorrow, and fear. I fear sinful actions. My mind is always humbled. Whatever and wherever I do. I am not happy anywhere. All the Buddhas are compassionate. Relieving the fears of all beings. Please accept my faults. Please liberate me from fears. May the Tathagata remove the stains of my own afflictions and karmas. I beseech the Buddhas to wash me with the water of compassion. I confess all sins. All that I have done in the past. And whatever sins I have now.
