In short, all the deeds that should not be done have been done, and the deeds that should be done have not been done, etc. All these sins are thoroughly confessed. I rejoice in all the merits of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the past, present, and future and all ordinary beings. I urge all the Buddhas of the ten directions to turn the unsurpassed wheel of Dharma. I beseech all the lamps of the world who wish to show the way to Nirvana, not to pass into Nirvana, but to remain in the world for a long time for the benefit of the world. I invite the teacher Shakyamuni Buddha and the sixteen great Arhats and their retinues, prostrate to them, make offerings, and pray for their wishes to be fulfilled. I confess sins before them, rejoice in merits, pray for the turning of the wheel of Dharma, and pray that they do not pass into Nirvana. May all the sins and obscurations that we have accumulated since beginningless time be purified and cleansed by the power of their might and blessings. May we have healthy bodies and long lives. May we attain all the perfections of the world and beyond. Finally, may we perfect the two accumulations and attain the state of the Vajra Body, the Dharma King, the Buddha, the Blessed One. May no inauspicious things such as human and animal diseases, crop failures, and enemy harm occur in all regions. May there be timely rain, abundant harvests, flourishing livestock, and the perfection of happiness and well-being. May all sentient beings have happiness and be free from suffering, perfect the two accumulations, and ultimately attain Buddhahood. In particular, may the holy Dharma abide long and flourish. May all Sangha members be diligent day and night in all virtuous deeds of body, speech, and mind, such as the ten practices of Dharma, the two wheels of Dharma, and so on. At the time of saying "Do," scatter flowers. At the time of saying "Take refuge," join palms. At the time of saying "Grant blessings," generate the aspiration that all happiness and well-being arising from each individual's prayers may be attained by oneself and all other sentient beings, and thus combine thought and action. To the feet of the Bhagavan, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha Shakyamuni, at all times I prostrate. I offer. I take refuge.
