By bestowing empowerment upon you, the deceased, Cutting off the gates of the six realms, May you be born in a field of virtue. All lands, houses, wealth, Like illusions and dreams, Are impermanent and changing phenomena, There is nothing that remains permanent. Do not be attached, do not be greedy, son of lineage! All parents, children, relatives, Like dream-born beings, Are impermanent phenomena of separation. Calling out your name, Parents and relatives saying "It is I," All cries of lamentation and wailing, Are obstacles and hindrances on the path to liberation, Do not listen to them, son of lineage! Do not be attached, son of lineage! Above this demarcated ground, Is the land of liberation and bliss, Go forth, depart, son of lineage! Generate a joyful and delighted mind, In the supreme pure land, I shall lead you, May you attain the ground of no return! Place the name plaque on the lotus seat. Gather the mandala of the six realms. Then, entering the mandala, Offer the mandala with scented water and so on to the ground. Oṃ Cakṣu Rabandha Vāra Māya Hūṃ (藏文：ཨོཾ་ཙཀྵུ་རྦནྡྷ་ཝཱ་ར་མ་ཱ་ཡ་ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：ॐ चक्षु र्बन्ध वार माय हुं，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ cakṣu rabandha vāra māya hūṃ，汉语字面意思：嗡，眼睛，束缚，遮蔽，幻，吽)! Recite this mantra and remove the blindfold. Āḥ Khaṃ Vīra Hūṃ (藏文：ཨཱཿཁཾ་བཱི་ར་ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：आः खं वीर हुं，梵文罗马拟音：āḥ khaṃ vīra hūṃ，汉语字面意思：阿，空，勇士，吽)! Throw flowers. The deceased, with faith, prays: Emaho! Protector, compassionate one! I, a sentient being, wander in samsara, Having entered a wrong path, I beseech you to show the path of great bliss and liberation! I beseech you to lead me into the great mandala! Bestow upon me the vows of the Vajrayana, And also the bodhicitta! Bestow upon me the common and extraordinary, Three refuges! Bestow empowerment and blessings! Again, beseeching refuge and taking vows: All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions! I beseech you to consider the deceased! Oaths of individual liberation, and unsurpassed aspiration-entrance Bodhicitta, all root and branch vows, I have completely taken without exception. Recite three times. Visualize opening the doors of the mandala in the four directions. Hūṃ. The doors of the great mandala in the four directions, are blocked by the four obscurations of afflictions, the gatekeepers, wrathful deities, father and mother, eight in number, the immeasurable gatekeepers, four with faces, with the four mudras of skillful means and wisdom, open the four doors of the four wisdoms, may the deceased enter with faith. To the peaceful and wrathful deities of Kuntuzangpo, the deceased prostrates with reverence, may they meet the yidam deity. Praveshaya Phat! (प्रवेशय फट्, praveshaya phat, Enter!), Pratīccha Ho! (प्रतीच्छ होः, praticcha ho, Receive!). Thus, throw flowers. Please bestow the secret name of "Immaculate Self-Liberation." Om Vajra Jnana Chakshu Praveshaya Phat! Generating as the deity and purifying sins and obscurations: Hūṃ, from Hūṃ, the deceased transforms into the body of Vajrasattva, white and clear, with one face and two arms, smiling, the right hand holds the wisdom-emptiness vajra at the heart, the left hand holds the emptiness bell resting on a nine-pronged vajra, the complete enjoyment body adorned with silk and jewels, sitting in a playful posture with the right leg extended and the left leg bent, at the heart, the vajra Hūṃ is surrounded by the hundred-syllable mantra, a stream of nectar descends, all violations and sins are purified, becoming like a crystal ball. Recite the hundred-syllable mantra, Om Vajrasattva Samaya, etc. Then, from the terma text, the body, speech, and mind empowerments, the five wisdom empowerments, the three supreme empowerments, and the support are sequentially bestowed. The body, speech, and mind empowerments mentioned are gathered in the vase, so hold the vase. Hūṃ. This vase is a palace, in which the peaceful and wrathful deities reside, from the inner and outer secret mandalas, by bestowing the empowerments of body, speech, and mind, the supreme inner and outer secret empowerments, descend upon the fortunate ones, the aggregates transform into deities and goddesses, may the empowerment of the generation stage deity be obtained.
