For the four activities of the kila, the mouth faces east, etc., in accordance with the activity, and each recites their own mantra. It is said that the blade of the knife also faces each direction. The four mantras are those that appear in the New Translation Root Tantra, Body, Speech, and Mind Tantra. In addition to this tantra, it also describes the outer, inner, and secret tantras, and the measurements of the four activities, etc., some differences. Specifically, in the previous tantra, it says, "The mouth is inseparable from recitation." Therefore, when making deities, kilas, etc., one recites the kila mantra. Since it is mostly based on manifest activities, the mouth faces south. In order to subdue, the blade of the knife faces oneself, or in order to destroy, the blade faces outward. It can also be explained in this way when made of iron. The Nirvana Sutra says, "Tie a knot at the root, perform the four activities at the tip, and carve according to your own tradition." And the Activity Tantra says, "Tie a knot at the root of the tree, and carve each of their marks on the tip." And so on. The Karma Guru Tantra says, "Do not reverse the head and tail, and make the head at the root." And so on, repeatedly and clearly stating that making the head of the kila at the root of the tree is a characteristic of this tradition, and is the greatness of dependent origination. If one deviates from this, there will be faults such as not hitting the target and turning back on oneself. Sixth, blessing, divided into two types, common and special, the first being the common blessing. The Wisdom Peak Tantra says, "Tie a knot above, in the center, place the supreme relic of the Buddha. On the knot in the center or position, place a jewel. One skilled in the Wisdom Peak, place a sheep bone horror. With the essence of the Dharmadhatu, bless the upper center position. With the secret mantra of the Three Jewels, bless the center position. With the mantras of many Vajra Wrathful Ones, bless the center position of the peak." It is recorded in the scriptures. In the treasure troves, it is said that the relics of the Buddha, the paper rolls of each of their heart mantras, and the packages of blessed substances are tied to the neck of the kila, which seems to be the intention here. In the extremely secret instruction of the heart essence of the kila, it says that the neck of the practice kila is infused with mustard seeds and thousands of grains, and water of benzoin, wrapped in dark blue silk, and the secret mantra is written on paper with knife blood and sandalwood juice.

The place of residence is also in the belly of a turtle or in iron, copper, etc., or on fierce ground, a triangle made of dark blue, with nine crossed E's (ཨ) written on it, and on top of that, a corpse is made, inserted into the heart, this is the flourishing custom. There are also single E's (ཨ) without the nine crossings and the corpse image, which mantra holders seem to be doing. For the phurba of the four activities, the pedestal and headdress are of their own color. It is said that meat and linga are nailed to the top of the tsang phurba, and placed on a pedestal of dry skulls. The special blessings can be known elsewhere. The way to place those phurbas that have been accomplished in such a way is also said in the Tantra of the Wisdom Peak: "Even if one does not strive to practice, in vessels that match the shape, placed in a clean place, cover, incense, and circumambulate, perform the ritual of offering and parasol." As it is said, it is necessary to do so. That should also be in a box etc. in a room with a splendid and fierce arrangement, covered with dark blue silk, incensed with gugul and great oil, and invited to reside with offerings.
