That measure must also be followed. Secondly, regarding the involvement of what is to be meditated upon, it is generally explained as eightfold: When a yogi purifies the collection of discursive thoughts, he engages with the place of his own body; to accumulate the power of recitation, he engages with the noble son; to propitiate the oath-bound ones, he engages with the oath-bound ones; for liberation, he engages with enemies and obstacles at the time of contemplation; at the time of empowerment, he engages with deities; at the time of accomplishing longevity, he engages with the longevity vase; at the time of obtaining accomplishments, he engages with food; In the case of matters concerning the deceased, there is the purification of the deceased's sins and obscurations, etc. Here, there are three ways of reciting that are relevant: sparks from a firebrand, a complete conch shell, and like a blacksmith's sparks. The first is: Pray to the Bhagavan father and mother, etc. The mantra is only recited with sixteen syllables, which is practiced by most of the old and new schools. Therefore, when reciting in this way, visualize that from the samadhi mind of the Vajrasattva in your heart arises a mantra garland, blue in color, with red rays of light, like iron hooks connected, arising from the center of the vajra. It exits from the left nostril of the wisdom Vajrasattva and your right nostril, enters the left nostril of the wisdom Vajrasattva in front, and dissolves into the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) in its heart. You also generate a mantra garland from that, which exits from the nostril of the wisdom Vajrasattva in front, enters your left nostril and the left nostril of the wisdom Vajrasattva, goes out from the center of the vajra, and dissolves into the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) in your heart. Visualize that when the mantra garland goes out, countless forms of Vajrakumara emanate from it, pacifying all the sins, obscurations, obstacles, and hindrances of all sentient beings, and all sentient beings become the bodies of the yidam deities. When the mantra garland comes in, visualize that the blessings of all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, lamas, and yidams become the form of Vajrakumara and dissolve into you, thereby blessing the continuum, and recite while visualizing the mantra garland continuously revolving. The second is: Visualize that all three of your faces recite Kīlāya (藏文:ཀཱི་ལ་ཡ,梵文天城体:कीलाय,梵文罗马拟音:kīlāya,汉语字面意思:橛), and the five blood-drinking families of the head ornaments and the small wrathful ones in the pores of the hair recite at the same time. Similarly, visualize the wrathful deities, wrathful mothers, emanations, doorkeepers, noble sons, and oath-bound ones.

Moreover, the recitation in the four postures is also the same. Contemplate that all sounds, such as the sound of fire, the sound of water, and the sound of wind, sound like the sound of Kīla. In the space in front, the Guru Yidam resides, filling the sky, and contemplate that all sentient beings transformed into the form of Yidams are helping you recite the mantra. The third is the three intentions of recitation: knowing Kīla as a deity, knowing Kīla as Dharmata, and knowing Kīla as attracting and dispelling. The first is: from the radiance of the mantra, light emanates, touching the outer container and inner essence, causing them to appear as deities and palaces, and contemplate that a Vajrakumara appears upright in front. When reciting "Kīla," another identical Kīla appears from it. From it, another identical Kīla appears, and contemplate that the world is filled with deities. Contemplate that all of these are reciting Kīla, and if you want to prolong your life, attract life and power, etc., and merge them into yourself. If you want to revive the dead, also attract all the life force above and merge it. If you want to subdue the wicked, attract life and consciousness. This is the auspicious saying for the first recitation. Knowing Kīla as Dharmata is: for example, hailstones in autumn, just as they melt when exposed to the sunlight without clouds, when the mantra emits five kinds of light, and just by hearing the sound of Kīla, contemplate that all sentient beings in the world melt into indivisible Dharmata. This is the auspicious saying for the recitation aimed at Bodhi. Knowing Kīla as attracting and dispelling is: when reciting "Kīla," from the light of the mantra, light emanates from wrathful deities holding iron hooks, ropes, iron chains, and various weapons, contemplate that the targeted perpetrator is attracted, trembling, and placed in the lingam, and contemplate that in the heart position, inside the blood-frog-like body, there is consciousness (Tibetan: ཤེས་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: विज्ञान, Sanskrit Romanization: vijñāna, Chinese literal meaning: consciousness), use the syllable "Phat" to close the door backwards, causing it to separate. If targeting a ghost, then merge the essence of consciousness, the letter (Tibetan: ཏྲྀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: त्र, Sanskrit Romanization: tri, Chinese literal meaning: Trī) into the image and nameplate. This is the auspicious saying for the activity of killing enemies and obstacles. When reciting the retinue mantra, contemplate that the rosary of mantras passes through the mandala of the mind (Tibetan: ཐུགས་, Sanskrit Devanagari: चित्त, Sanskrit Romanization: citta, Chinese literal meaning: mind) of all the deities, comes out from the path of the life force, from the path of Bodhi in the throat, from the light of the mantra swirling on the red and black tongue, yourself
