Planting stakes and leading astray, holding onto the meaning of signs in a perverse way. They are those who have vowed to subdue, the characteristic of deviating from the teachings. Engaging in various inappropriate actions, openly displaying objects and implements, recklessly engaging in the activities of union and liberation, abandoning the view and the nature of reality, accepting perverse conduct, freely indulging in pride, anger, and wrath, abandoning the essential meaning of the instructions, using perverse teachings to benefit others, skilled in inverted meanings, abandoning the teachings and engaging in perverse actions, doing everything perversely. That is indeed Rudra, even if actually subdued, there is no fault. From such statements to 'the characteristic of being ruined by desire.' Summarizing the meaning explained above: First, those who are ruined in terms of life are those who kill their own parents, preceptors, and teachers, and those who create discord among Vajra brothers. Second, those who are ruined in terms of meaning are those who use the aforementioned objects as a basis for slander, abandon the correct view, accept perverse views, abandon the Buddha's teachings, and are skilled at distorting the teachings. Third, those who are ruined in terms of teachings are those who are hostile to practicing secret mantras properly, make false comparisons, create unnecessary complications, slander the teachings, and lead others astray. Fourth, those who are ruined in terms of vows are those who deceive the Vajra master's teachings and harbor malicious intentions, cut off the lineage of secret mantras and mudras, and spread secret teachings to those who are not mature. Fifth, those who are ruined by actions are those who, without past grievances, attack others without reason and are fickle, even though I have not shown fault, they try to harm me with their power. Sixth, those who are ruined by signs are those who cling to sectarian views in the meaning of non-duality, use the two extremes of existence and non-existence to judge right and wrong, grasp at signs in the unborn Dharma, and without subjugating all the gods and demons, falsely claim to be the great glorious one, deceiving the foolish people of the world, and are angry and harmful to others. Seventh, those who are ruined by desire are those who, without the power of the three wisdoms, but with a desire for great power, use the chief of activities as a sign, and pray to the gods and spirits who have not transcended the world.

It is said that abandoning the good principles of acting by smearing one's own face with blood, etc., and rudely engaging in inappropriate evil deeds, slandering the Dharma and doctrines, and stealing the enjoyment achieved through the desire for food and drink. Furthermore, the Root Tantra of the Blood Drinker says: "Destroying the Buddha's teachings, degrading the status of the Three Jewels, seizing the gathering place of the Sangha, slandering the Mahayana Dharma, cursing the Guru's body, creating discord among Vajra brothers, obstructing practice, deviating from vows, Rakshasas without compassion, acting like heretics, cursing practitioners. These are the ten fields of liberation." As it is said, those evil-doers who rudely engage in what should not be done become the objects of liberation, and ten types are thus proclaimed. For those difficult-to-tame beings, liberating them through manifest actions, taking their lives, is the most excellent among all mantra activities. The reason is that the categories of sentient beings that are grasped by the rope of compassion and are the objects of mantra activities are of two types: easy to tame and difficult to tame. The first is those whose karmic obscurations and afflictions are mild and who have reverence for the Three Jewels. They are destined to be liberated to the state of liberation through compassionate and peaceful means such as teaching the Dharma, and are therefore easy to tame. The second is those who have the characteristics described here, who are tormented uncontrollably by strong karmic obscurations and afflictions, who turn their backs on the Three Jewels, who harm the Dharma and sentient beings in every way, and who cannot be tamed by any peaceful means. According to the Anuttara Tantras, they will fall into the Vajra Hell, or according to the Paramita and common vehicles, they will wander endlessly in the lower realms such as the great hell of Avici. These are special objects for engaging in the activity of liberation through forceful means. Second, the characteristics of the teacher who liberates, by what means, are that in general, in the explanation of the first of the five perfections mentioned above, the perfection of self or teacher, it is necessary to have all the teachings complete. In particular, one must have mastered the fortress of view, crossed the rapids of meditation, and practice.
