In the Vajrakrodha, it is said: The Vajrakumara of one's own mind, the basis, is like a seed pervading sesame oil. If one realizes this, becoming a Buddha is truly wondrous. The Vajrakumara of the path of progression is skillful means and wisdom, the three kayas and five wisdoms. Practice yoga like the continuous flow of a river. The Vajrakumara of the fruition of realization is endowed with the five kayas and nine wisdoms. Manifest the unerring realization. If one realizes the basis, path, and fruition, the dharmakaya, free from elaboration, will be manifested. As it is said, the yogi must manifest the Vajrakumara, who pervades the basis, path, and fruition, through the practice of the path. This is the general understanding. Specifically, there are many explanations of the actual methods of generation. These include ten sutras, forty roots, and eighty branches. The cause of generation is the four heroes, the adornments of the generated body are four, the characteristics are four, the stages are four, the rituals are four, the deities are four, the bases to be purified are four, the definitions are four, the divisions are four, and the ways to take the path are four. If we explain the essential points here with few words, the Guhyatantra of Vajrakila says: Vajrakumara has a thousand heads, a thousand hands, and a billion eyes. The Nirvanatantra of Vajrakila says: He has nine heads and eighteen hands. The root tantra Vajrakrodha and others say: Vajrakumara has three heads and six hands. The twelve Kilaya Tantras say: Vajrakumara has one face and two hands. Thus it is explained. Although he has a wrathful appearance, this wrath is not like the wrath of demons or rakshasas. Rather, it is shown by great compassion as a means to tame those to be tamed. For those of the highest capacity, it is said that they contemplate the deity with compassion. As for how to generate the deity, for beginners, it is with the intention of generating their own mind as the deity, hence it is said: Contemplate consciousness as vajra. For those who are accustomed, it is with the intention of generating themselves as the deity, hence it is said: In the treasury of the body, generate yourself. For those who have matured, it is with the intention of generating the skandhas as the deity, hence it is said: The skandhas are the nature of vajra. For those who have perfected, it is with the intention of seeing all places as the play of the deity, hence it is said: Samsara is the deity of Vajrakila. Thus it is said. Similarly, the basis to be purified, that which is to be purified, is oneself as the place of birth of the principal father and mother of the root mandala, and likewise,

Samadhi can cut off the dying existence. Because the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) of the cause Samadhi descends from the sky, and the main deity sits on the seat, it is said that it purifies the intermediate existence. In addition, the self-root mandala purifies the spontaneously born, the wrathful deities of the ten directions purify the womb-born, the twenty heads purify the egg-born, and the oath-bound ones purify the heat and moisture-born. This is said to be the main point of the oral instructions. Among them, the self-root mandala is the Dharmakaya because it is the nature of the Dharmakaya and is free from elaboration. The self is the nature of meditation. All the deities of the retinue arise from this, so the root Vajrakumara father and mother are the mandala. The deity of life, the deities of body, speech, and mind, the deities of adornment, and the deities of armor are the retinue, so it is said. Such a mandala has both the wrathful mandala of the ten directions and the kila activity mandala, so it is the self-root mandala. Self-root mandala is the wisdom being itself. The wrathful mandala of the ten directions of the self-root mandala is the deities of body, speech, and mind. The kila activity mandala of the self-root mandala is the kila in the hand. The kila protectors of the self-root mandala are the small wrathful deities in the pores. Such purity based on the great glorious father and mother, the main deities of the root mandala, is the union of the father and mother to show that the realm and wisdom are inseparable. Because the nature of reality is unchanging, the body color is dark blue-black. The nature of the three bodies and three liberations is three heads. The nature of the six perfections is six arms. The four feet are the four feet of miraculous power. In the hand is a nine-pronged vajra symbolizing the nine vehicles. A five-pronged vajra symbolizing the five wisdoms. The fire of wisdom that burns afflictions. A three-pointed khaṭvāṅga to cut off the three poisons from the root. A kila wrapped around Mount Meru to subdue all the wicked. In addition, to symbolize all the qualities of the ground, path, and fruition, the three substances to be smeared, the three garments to be worn, and the three ornaments to be worn, namely the nine charnel ground ornaments. The three dances of the body, the three dances of speech, and the three dances of mind, namely the nine dance postures, etc., are used to tame beings in the three realms and three existences with various distinctions.
