The light cluster of the earth, travels in the sky in its form. The essence is the glorious Heruka who delights. In the form of Vajra Master, in the sacred land of Tibet, with the four liberations, he dries up the ocean of existence. By the power of praying to his inconceivable biography, may I quickly accomplish the three secrets and activities of the Lord of Dharma, Chokyi Lodro. In the mandala of supreme secret great bliss, may all beings equal to space be ripened and liberated. Thus, this is a prayer related to the biography of the great translator Marpa Lotsawa. To increase knowledge and all that is to be known, Khen Lama Tashi Ozer urged to write. Karma Ngawang Yonten Gyatso Trinley Kunkhyab Pal Zangpo, with devotion to the secret treasure of the great translator, respectfully prayed at the great Dharma school of Dzongsar Tashi Lhatse, may goodness increase! ༈ A prayer to Jetsun Mila Shepa Dorje, called Wonderful Essence, is present. I pray to the feet of Jetsun Mila. In the land of Ngari Gungthang Tsa, the wonderful Garuda ripens the essence like a wish-fulfilling jewel in a golden egg, and comes to benefit beings. From the beginning, he was liberated, but to demonstrate the bondage of existence, in his youth, he was troubled by relatives, showing a distressed appearance. He offered his hair to the Gelong translator, studied writing and reading well, and listened to Vajrapani and other teachings. According to his mother's command, in the regions of U and Tsang, he went to seek a teacher. From the great Vidyadhara of Yung and Nub, he heard the instructions, and just by practicing a little, he completely eradicated the enemies of his mother and son. The fame of his great power spread far and wide. From the Nyingma Vidyadharas, he heard many teachings such as Dzogchen, and although he gained the ability of the generation stage, his mind was not satisfied, so he wanted to seek an accomplished teacher and profound instructions. Just by hearing the name of Lhodrak Marpa, unbearable faith arose, and when he went, the teacher saw him as a fortunate one through dream omens, so he welcomed him. The initial auspicious connection was well arranged.

Whichever sentient being hears my name in their ear and generates faith, they will not fall into the lower realms for seven lifetimes. You have declared this infallible truth. May it be so. At the age of eighty-four, in accordance with the stages of empowerment, with inconceivable visions and miracles, having passed into the Pure Land of Manifest Joy, may you purify all the Buddha-fields. May it be so. The touch-liberating garment and the taste-liberating essence of the tree, even if they increase inexhaustibly in each generation, also place many beings in temporary and ultimate benefit and happiness. May it be so. From the inconceivable ocean of biographies, through the power of prayer of just a hair-tip's droplet, with the iron hook of compassion, draw me to the pure realm, may you make me inseparable from you. This is a brief prayer to the biography of Jetsun Milarepa, the king of all the snowy Gangtise region. From the beginning, you manifested as a fully enlightened Buddha, but through the power of compassion, you emanated as Flower Moon, Moon Beauty, Moonlight Youth, and so forth, displaying the conduct of the lords of the ten bhumis, practicing the conduct of Samantabhadra. On the banks of the Rohita River, in the region of Nyal, a lama who benefits beings was born in the auspicious land. As a householder, you excelled in medicine, becoming the ocean of life for beings. Generating renunciation from worldly affairs, you went to glorious Dagpo. Taking full ordination, you mastered the Dharma and Vinaya. As an example for monks, you guarded the precepts like your life. At the feet of the treasure of merit. Relying on many spiritual friends, you diligently trained in the stages of the path.
