Ah, I bow to that unsurpassed kindness! I bow to Tara, Hayagriva, Wisdom Protector, and the Lord of Harmful Places, Also the distinctions of body, mudra, and vidya, Possessing the blessings to swiftly fulfill hopes. I bow to the Vajra Master, the virtuous spiritual friend, The Dharma protectors, kings, ministers, householders, Brahmins, etc., To the realms in general and especially the land of Tibet, Constantly pervaded by clouds of emanations. Like a Chakravartin king freely playing In a garden of wealth where happiness arises, Inside the endlessly blazing fire pit, When attempting to torment beings in the Avici hell, A rain of flowers like the spokes of a wheel, Descends together with the coolness of compassion, Placing the suffering ones in a state of eternal bliss, I bow to transforming the hell realm into a lotus pond. For the sake of benefiting beings like burning embers, Entering the city of pretas and Yama, Scattering diamond hailstones with the wind of loving-kindness, To the hungry, appearing as the food of the gods. At that time, from the tips of the fingers, the water of nectar, Just by tasting, bestowing a continuous stream that eliminates karmic obscurations and, Hunger and thirst together, I bow to leading to the realm of complete great bliss. To the hordes of insects that eat excrement and urine, The sound of the name of the Great Buddha of Hearing Liberation, Transformed into a flute by the throat of a honey-drinking bee, Placing all of them in a state of non-retrogression. In places of intense heat where food cannot be found, To those who devour each other's flesh, Even after raining down food, clothing, and Dharma, I bow to nurturing the sprout of seeing the Buddha. Yakshas, Rakshasas, those who live on life, In the dark womb unseen by the sun and moon, Casting the light of the offering of precious jewels, Opening the eye of true sight with the words of Dharma. To the Rakshasi tormented by the heat of desire, Showing the noble path and beautiful forms, Those hearts moistened with the moisture of peace, I bow to bestowing the gift of life to beings. When entering the ocean for the sake of benefit, Terrifying, wrathful like the face of Yama, Blown upside down by untimely winds, Even when falling into the mouth of a venomous snake, Just by eating the leaves of the knowing medicine, Shaking off the body on the golden sandy beach, Sending the people of Jambudvipa back to their homes.

I prostrate to the one who manifests miracles! To those who dwell on the golden ground like a pillar, and who traverse the silver land with paired feet. To the Asuras and others dwelling in the caves of the vajra womb, you tame all who are difficult to tame. Transforming the channels of strife stirred by the waves of jealousy into shores of equanimity. To the friend who guards even the gods from carelessness, I prostrate to the world protector whose name is true to its meaning! To those lost in the dark house, you are like a lamp; to those afflicted by drought, you are like a cloud's parasol; to those tormented by thirst, you are like a stream of cool water; to those afflicted by disease, you become medicine and physician. Those who are not pacified by minds of inferiority and superiority, and those known as teachers of wrong paths, you easily embrace with compassion, and bestow the prophecy of supreme enlightenment, I prostrate! Even if one comes intentionally to kill, intertwined among the vajra mountains, if one remembers your name without doubt, not even a hair's tip will be harmed, it is said. Likewise, from rakshasas, zombies, curses, and fire, water, poison, weapons, venomous snakes, armies of enemies, darkness, thieves, meteors, etc., mere remembrance extracts suffering from its depths. To sentient beings bound by the ropes of suffering, entangled in the nets of karma, burdened by the weight of afflictions, even if fear follows like a shadow, you always protect by bestowing fearlessness, I prostrate! Even the seed of the sala tree, though extremely small, when it meets warmth and moisture, after a few days, it grows like a tree covering a hundred yojanas. Likewise, by uttering your name with single-pointed devotion, the path of falling into the evil realms is cut off, and one easily sets foot in the pure land of enlightenment. One can engage in boundless samadhi and confidence, and fulfill wishes in this life, etc. If one does not attain other excellent qualities, then one's own self will not dwell in the essence of bodhichitta, thus, by showing the power of the great compassion dharani, and holding it with a mind satisfied by hearing, I prostrate! Just as when crops and fruits are destroyed by hail, no one makes the effort to cultivate, likewise, those whose minds are burned by great sins, who are abandoned by the Buddhas and their children, who slander the noble ones, misuse the Dharma, consume the property of the five unpardonable sins and the wealth of the Three Jewels, butchers, pigs, fish, and hunters.
