The name of supplication. Named Manjushri, hearing and remembering, the accumulation of merit is said to be inconceivable. Please bless me also with the letters of the name. By accumulating inconceivable profound wisdom, without relying on worldly dharma even a particle, becoming the great ruler who controls the dharma kingdom, please also grant me the empowerment to be a king of dharma. Although without form, color, or attire, yet possessing the splendor of stainless radiance, like the moon in water, ungraspable, please grant me also the radiance of great merit. In the past, you were the crown jewel of the Buddhas, in the future, you will be the protector Samantabhadra, and now, you are the essence of faith and great joy, etc. The ocean of Buddhas pierces through the shell of ignorance, and with the eyes of the Buddhas, sees countless realms like dust motes, manifesting immeasurable transformations in all realms, deeply entering into the realm of great wonders, the ocean of Bodhisattvas transforms the limits of existence into space. Protector, you are the father of all Buddhas, adorned with qualities equal to the realm of dharma, although you have reached the limits of the two accomplishments, yet you still delight in benefiting sentient beings alone. Even if a hundred thousand Buddhas were to speak, it would be like a tip of a hair, becoming a sea of liberation like a mote of dust. Although I proclaim millions of empty praises, I do not draw near, nor do I approach, but like the light of the sun and moon opening the eyes of others, like a worm marking its own path, I mark the path of faith only for myself, please, Manjushri, compassionate protector, accept this lamp of words. The crown of light and the supreme wisdom guru, the freedom of peace and aspiration wisdom, etc., like the great wisdom you act, I also follow the footsteps of Manjushri the hero. After destroying the darkness of the heart with the virtue of faith, may I now directly see the form of youthful Manjushri, possessing great magical powers and beautiful color, becoming an object of manifest senses. Existence is like the long breath of a guest, possessing the lines of a hundred auspicious spokes, please touch my head with your palm, and may you be my guru until enlightenment. This was composed in the pure and beautiful land of the east, near the palace of the great treasure of omniscient wisdom, where people are naturally endowed with clear intellectual wisdom.

Written with devotion by Uma Pa Lodro Thaye, may it cause me to be embraced by Manjushri the Hero in all my lives. Mangalam! Homage! A slight praise of a portion of the biography of the venerable Avalokiteshvara, the Lord of Compassion, entitled "The King of Wish-Fulfilling Jewels: Clouds of Rain Proclaiming the Limitless Ocean of Merit and Wisdom." Namo Maha Karunikaya! Limitless merit and wisdom, like golden dust, embodying the knowledge and compassion of all the Buddhas. The sole offering tree of the ocean of Buddha-fields, I prostrate to the protector Avalokiteshvara. Even the immeasurable accumulation of merit from diligently serving and honoring the Bhagavat, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, for eons of gods, resides in just one tip of your hair. Such merit, qualities, and fearlessness, even the Tathagatas do not possess, so what need is there to mention other Bodhisattvas? I prostrate to you, who are repeatedly praised by the Buddhas of the three times. Whatever perfections exist in this world are all due to the power of the perfect Buddha. Even a hundred thousand suns are but a fraction of the light from the hand of compassion. Reciting the names of the Buddhas a hundred kotis of Ganges, or remembering the name of Avalokiteshvara, the merit is even greater than the former, bestowing the palm of enlightenment, I bow my head in reverence. There is nothing that can hold it like the sky, the Buddhas have not seen the nature of your body, and even the All-Good One could not fully comprehend the end of a single pore, despite his efforts. Golden light, black light, and sunlight, as well as the ornaments of the gods, etc., in each and every pore, manifest the biographies of the ocean of Buddha-sons, I prostrate to the Tara who has gone beyond this great wonder. Doors of samadhi equal to the number of fine dust particles, multiplied a hundredfold in each pore, entering and exiting, rivaling the All-Good One, also showing the manner of subduing his power. Even if one were to praise for eons with the number of Buddha-fields' dust particles, it is said that the qualities of that sky cannot be exhausted by measuring with fingers. I prostrate to that which possesses impossible dharmas, which are impossible to exist. To those sentient beings who have become ripened, you show the arising of Buddhas in the ten directions, manifesting Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, Chakravartins, and a thousand eyes.
