The Sapo Kagyu unanimously agree that Lord Marpa summarized the Dharma for attaining Buddhahood into four key points, Ngokpa father and son combined the essence of the Six Dharmas into the two of blending and transference, Jetsun Mila spoke of the introduction to the eight bardos, Depupa considered there to be four pairs and eight branches, and Rechungpa considered there to be three cycles of blending or nine cycles of blending and transference, etc. Although there are many classifications and summaries, the meaning all converges on what was said before. The path of liberation, Mahamudra, in the manner of this lineage's precious tradition, in the realm of simplicity and luminosity that is in accordance with the Sutra system, is to settle into equanimity with the instruction of not focusing on the object of focus, and in the two views that distinguish the Tantric system of bliss and emptiness Mahamudra, co-emergent union, the wisdom born from empowerment, and the emphasis on striking the vital points of the Vajra body, the latter is as mentioned above, and the former mainly comes from the decree of the Lord Maitripa. Its essence is that it pervades all of samsara and nirvana, possessing the seven special wisdoms that are inseparable in depth and clarity. Etymologically, if understood from the word "Mahamudra," then all the dharmas of the three paths of samsara and nirvana cannot transcend it, so it is the "Seal," there is no dharma higher than it, so it is "Great," it is the collection of the same basis. If classified, there are three Mahamudras of the base, path, and fruit. The first is that the meaning of abiding, from the power of realization and non-realization, arises as the two of liberation and delusion, therefore all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana cannot transcend it, so it is the "Seal," the Dharmakaya other than it cannot be found, so it is "Great." The second is that when introduced by the guru's instructions and practiced, all that is known and knowable cannot transcend its radiance, so it is the "Seal," the Buddha's wisdom other than it cannot be found, so it is "Great." The third is that when the adventitious stains are purified by the path, so that the way of abiding of the base manifests, all the manifestations of body and wisdom cannot transcend its essence, so it is the "Seal," because it is the ultimate state, so it is "Great." Co-emergence also has two types, self-nature co-emergence and melting bliss co-emergence. Here, it does not refer to mere conceptual meditation of retrospective inference that cannot be found after detailed analysis, but rather the clinging to the uninterrupted appearance of clarity,

Because the manifestation of non-thought is made into a path that transcends conceptualization, thereby uniting with the co-emergent of meaning, that is why it is said that way. Lord Gampopa said: Mind and conceptualization, the three kayas, are initially co-emergent as one. Because of the instructions, they are united as one. Isn't that called co-emergent union? To practice such a path, Tailopa said: Alas, this is self-aware wisdom, beyond words and not the realm of the mind. Tailopa, I have nothing to show. Recognize it by yourself. Like that, having recognized the nature of the ground view, in the Six Dharmas of Tailopa it is said: Do not think, do not contemplate, do not analyze, do not meditate, do not consider, leave it in its natural state. Practicing the path in this way is the same in meaning as the teachings on non-mentation of Maitripa. On top of that, Lord Gampopa combined the Second Armor of Mahamudra composed by Jowo Je, and based on the teaching methods of the Kadampa tradition, he made unborn meditation arise, which is the Four Preliminaries. Making what is born into the path, which is the Three Introductions. And the ways to enhance and increase qualities, without regard to superior or inferior faculties, he extensively bestowed guidance, so that when the continuum is ripened, even those with inferior faculties are quickly transformed, becoming the supreme instruction for the means of self-liberation. Following that, Palden Phagmo Drupa and Drikung Jigten Sumgon, father and son, promoted the instructions of the Five Possessions. The glorious Karmapa matured and liberated through the Four Key Points Wheel of Dharma and the instructions of the Introduction to the Three Kayas. In the glorious Drukpa Kagyu, Upper Drukpa transmitted the Eight Great Instructions, Lower Drukpa transmitted the Five-Deity Thubpa, and the Root Kagyu transmitted the path of the Six Cycles. Each of the Four Great, Eight Small, and their various branches of countless lineages have placed many disciples on the level of accomplishment. These events are widely known, inspiring complete faith. Fifth, the Shangpa Kagyu, in general, the ultimate Five Possessions, the accomplished Khyungpo fully received the heart essence of one hundred and fifty Indian scholars and accomplished ones, therefore the doors of Dharma are limitless and said to be unparalleled, so it cannot be measured by a one-sided view.
