Thinking within the vast and expansive protective wheel of the nature of fire, as if dwelling in an immeasurable palace possessing the four qualities of fire, practice Tummo, taking it as a dwelling. When sitting or lying down, also think of the cushion and bed as being of the nature of fire, practice Tummo, taking it as a cushion. All the clothes you wear, think of them as being of the nature of fire, practice Tummo, wearing them as clothes. Instructions on the illusory body. Regarding the general suffering nature of samsara, and especially your own body, particularly until the mind has not attained freedom, even for a moment it is impermanent, examine and analyze the reasons for not trusting it. Since you originally dwell in the wheel of pure appearances, view the body as the supreme deity's form. Generate certainty through the twelve similes of illusion: although the form of the body is complete, it is without inherent existence, like a reflection in a mirror; appearing in various colors, like a rainbow; appearing as two from one, like an eye affliction; like a magical illusion created from wind and light; like the moon in water appearing as one; like a shadow person that cannot be destroyed by anything; appearing as various fields and arrangements, like a city of gandharvas, these are the seven similes for the body. Changing rapidly like a waterfall; one taste appearing as many, like a water bubble, these are the two similes for speech. Experiencing that inherent existence is unestablished, like a dream; innate and self-appearing, like an illusion, these are the two similes for mind. The arising of activity is swift, like lightning, this is the nature of all three, generate certainty and practice through these simile gates. To seize dreams, visualize a red drop in the center of the four-petaled lotus of the throat chakra, which is of the nature of fire. On the four petals, visualize (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་, Devanagari: ओम्, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om), (Tibetan: ཨ་ནུ་ཏ་ར་, Devanagari: अनुत्तर, Romanized Sanskrit: anuttara, Literal Chinese meaning: Unsurpassed), and then go to sleep, you will definitely succeed. Transform, increase, and purify in conduct. In the clear light of daytime, stabilize the practice of the state of non-conceptual clear light, and through its power, the clear light of deep sleep, the samadhi of the union of bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality will be manifested. When the bardo dawns, whatever appears, train in pure appearances through the power of previous habituation, and thus the sambhogakaya will be manifested in the bardo. Completely abandoning the life of this birth, in the interval before fully taking on the life of the next, becoming a body of mere wind and mind.

Being in that state itself is practice. That also depends on previous habituation. Therefore, whatever daytime appearances arise now, be sure that it is Bardo. Either make the nature manifest, or transform it into pure appearance, and by getting used to abiding naturally in that state, one will become proficient in dreams. For whatever dream appearances arise, remember the Bardo, and on top of that, practice purification and self-liberation, so that one can master the practice. If one is accustomed to that, then when death comes, the eighty self-nature discriminations will gradually dissolve, and through the stages of the three appearances, one will end this life's dwelling. Whatever Bardo appearances arise, the key instructions of previous habituation will come in handy, so that the fruition of the Sambhogakaya of the Bardo will manifest. The key instruction of Transference. In the sky about an arrow's height above the crown of the head, visualize the Guru and Yidam's palace, the Khechara realm, as actually present. Inside the Avadhuti of the body, at the place of the throat, visualize a white Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) surrounded by four Anuttaras. Along with inhaling the air, visualize a blue Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) emanate from the Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) of the throat and come to the heart. Then visualize a red Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿) emanate from there and abide at the navel. Hold the breath as long as possible, and then along with exhaling, the Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿) of the navel merges with the Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). That merges with the Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) of the throat. Visualize the Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) along with the four letters, as the essence of body, speech, and mind, emerge from the Brahma hole in the form of a Bindu and merge into the heart of the Guru. In the "All-Pervading Six Dharmas of Naropa," it says, "The knot of increasing joy is the most excellent liberation, like taking out a piece of brocade from molten gold, write it down after taking it out from the molten gold." (76) The instruction manual for the Six Dharmas of Niguma. The instruction of the Six Dharmas of Niguma is: First, go for refuge and generate Bodhicitta. Visualize the Guru on top of a lotus and moon seat on the crown of the head. Pray to the precious Guru to pacify my illnesses and demonic obstacles, purify sins and obscurations, and cause special Samadhi to arise in my mindstream. Inside one's own head, on top of a white and bright Dharma origin, visualize a white Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿) from which nectar arises, filling the whole body, and sins, obscurations, and habitual tendencies are expelled in the form of smoke. The body becomes like a crystal ball. Purify fever with cool nectar, purify cold with red, and purify wind with a balance of red-yellow, hot and cold. For demonic obstacles, visualize it as boiling hot water. These signs will appear in reality and in dreams.
