Thereby generating definitive understanding, and combining the experience of meditative equipoise with post-meditation conduct is also a crucial instruction among key instructions. May this key instruction always bring joy to one's own mind, showing the supreme liberation from bondage. Having gained conviction, it is a key point to be meditated upon. Having condensed the essence, this was written. This was extracted from the instructional examples composed by Jetsun Drakpa. A guide to blending Sutra and Tantra. The guide to blending Sutra and Tantra is: first, go through refuge and bodhicitta. Make meditative stabilization the key point of the body. Clearly establish the ordinary mind's connection as a deity. The emanation and absorption of the seed syllable at the heart center. Light radiates upwards, offering to the noble ones. They enter into the heart centers of those beings. Returning again, one receives the blessings of non-dual wisdom. Radiating outwards, purify all phenomena into celestial mansions. Imagine all beings purified into deities and goddesses. Meditate on the lama and dissolve into oneself. Then, gazing in amazement at appearance and existence, from the depths, generate definitive understanding that all phenomena of appearance and existence are without inherent existence, like illusions. However, there is no need to immediately correct it. Originally, it is pure by its very nature, completely severing all imputations, and remaining clear in its own clarity. Remaining relaxed in its own liberation. Liberated into the Dharmakaya, which is the non-duality of samsara and nirvana. Generate compassion for those who do not know or realize this. That too is inseparable because it is the nature of the expanse. That inseparability is the essence of emptiness and compassion in the syllable Ka (ཀ་,क,ka,Ka). Through that, one effortlessly traverses the supreme path. The essence of the path is the natural flow of meaning. Thus, measure from above downwards, and calculate from below upwards by the manner of traversing. All virtuous deeds of meditation that are grasped by that are the path of accumulation. Relying on any mind of contemplation, clearly ascertain the general meaning, which is the path of joining. That which becomes manifest is the path of seeing. By becoming accustomed to that, the subtle traces of afflictions, the subtle aspects of cognitive obscurations, also subside, which is the path of meditation. Each subtle stain is also pacified in the expanse, and the qualities of abandonment and realization are completely perfected, and the spontaneous accomplishment of activities for the benefit of sentient beings arises, which is the ultimate path. This path should not be given to those of inferior intellect who have not touched the meaning of reality. Be seized by a virtuous friend. Knowing the nature of samsara, abandoning attachment to this life, and giving it to those who practice single-pointedly. Having gathered the essence of all Sutras and Tantras, blending them into one brings joy to the mind.
