Remembering all beings, generate compassion, and fervently supplicate the Guru, seeing him as the Buddha. Then, cultivate the patience to accept the suffering of the six realms of beings through the practice of Tonglen (giving and taking). Finally, place self and others in the state of equality within the uncontrived expanse of space, and transform the focus associated with this key point into a method for overcoming sickness, demons, and enemies. All phenomena appear like illusions and dreams, self-liberated. This profound instruction on essential union is written for the benefit of sentient beings' minds. This instruction on the heart essence of dependent arising is extracted and written from the instructions of Muschen Gyaltsen Palzang. (4)

This very nature is called Dharmakaya. Second, introducing happiness as Sambhogakaya: That mind which appears as happiness, from the white seed syllable ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Sha) with a dot and a forceful character, cultivate the path as Avalokiteśvara. Recite Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:ओँ मणि पद्मे हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡 嘛呢 贝美 吽) as much as possible. Third, introducing happiness as Nirmanakaya: The blue, yellow, white, red, etc., radiance of the mind that appears as happiness, appearing in various ways without ceasing, after contemplating that this is Nirmanakaya, when happy, dedicate the collection of bliss to all beings. May benefit and happiness fill the sky. Saying this, the second method also combines the way of transforming the three bodies of conventional and ultimate truth in the same way, and finally, when suffering, take on the suffering of all beings, may the ocean of suffering dry up. Like this, understand the lamp path guidance as before. To all joy༷ and sorrow༷, to happiness༷ and sadness༷, the key point that appearances are self-liberated༷, is the essence that represents. The most༷ profound༷ key point of the instructions, written as one has attained. This is the instruction manual for taking happiness and suffering as the path. It is written by extracting from the words of Gyalsé Chökyongwa, from the notes made by Lama Jetsun Redapa. (5) Homage! The instructions on Lojong of Sumpa. The instructions on Lojong of Sumpa are: After refuge and bodhicitta have gone before, from the habits accumulated by oneself in the past, do not judge whatever appearances arise now, but generate contentment and mindfulness. Relax the mind and body, and hold onto a state where body and mind are as comfortable as possible. Resolve not to let the mind wander with karma, and abide in this, and happiness will arise from within. Do not cut off the past, do not welcome the future. Abide in the clear state of present awareness, without any fabrication. In this state, if distracted, also connect with the rope of mindfulness, and let it go naturally. Whatever happens, treat it as an encounter. In any case, when unnecessary thoughts turn into practice, even death becomes easy. There is no possibility of deviating from the path of liberation. In reality, one's own mind does not truly die, but only appears to be born. Recognizing that death is merely an imputation, thereby blocking the door of birth and death. Once one sees the face of the undying nature, where is there any death? Completely cut off this doubt. When examined, it is the most༷ profound dharma of all, the meaning that increases the joy༷ of the wise, the essence of the condensed points of the near path of self-liberation༷, is this. This is extracted from the instructions of Dharma Lord Paldan Lama.

Instructions on the Chö of Machik. The Chö instructions of Machik are: First, go for refuge and generate bodhicitta. The Mother's Meaning: Preliminary View. Grasp the introduction to the meaning of the Mother, and let the mind relax in a state of non-contrivance. Do nothing in the mind. Think nothing with the mind. Do not follow anyone. Let awareness manifest clearly. Do not move the pupils of the eyes. Abide in a dazed state of looking. It is good if you can abide and meditate. Meditate in that way. If you do not want to meditate at all, visualize the Lama and Machik as inseparable in front of you, with a body of any size and color, radiating fire and light from the body, the body unobstructed by anything, possessing the power to pierce back and forth. Having visualized in this way, from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet, with one utterance of the fierce sound "Phaṭ" (藏文:ཕཊ།,梵文天城体:फट,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:Cut), visualize piercing back and forth. By doing so, the state of being free from conceptual activity, like the center of the sky, is introduced. The Lama slightly guides and repeatedly shows the key points. Its ultimate meaning, the self-nature of the Mother, is the present state of mind, without grasping, without reliance, without good gods, without evil spirits, outwardly boundless, inwardly boundless. This is it. Relying on this, all Buddhas become Buddhas. From realizing this meaning, Buddhas arise. Please practice! The main practice: cutting the four maras in the realm of reality. In order to rely on it, first recognize it, and then, after abiding in the state of the Mother, because the conditions are uncertain, stimulate the awareness without clinging. (1) Forms in the eye, sounds in the ear, smells in the nose, tastes in the tongue, tangible objects in the body: the five faculties, the five objects, must be cut in the state of the Mother. When thoughts arise in your mind, recite "Phaṭ" (藏文:ཕཊ།,梵文天城体:फट,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:Cut). Relax the mind, and the stream of attachment and aversion will be completely cut off. Abide in your own nature, and cut nakedly in your own place. That is, when attachment and aversion arise, let them arise. Abiding in the state of reciting "Phaṭ" (藏文:ཕཊ།,梵文天城体:फट,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:Cut) is cutting. Being free from thought and naked is the measure of cutting. Please practice it. (2) Then, joy, fear, terror, sorrow, weariness, shame, anxiety, desire, aversion, the activity of past, future, and present thoughts, because these are all maras, when thoughts arise, recite "Phaṭ" (藏文:ཕཊ།,梵文天城体:फट,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:Cut) and relax the mind, and the stream of mind will be completely cut off. The mind, naked in its own nature, that is cutting, in emptiness.
