The twenty-five sections of severance are shown to correspond to the twenty-five samadhis of the "Eight Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita," practicing the essential points of the key without wavering, like a barber entering the battlefield, like a wise man searching for a cow, like finding a bird corpse on a boat without divination. The tradition of introducing these three similes was valued by Buton Tamche Khyenpa, who also gave heart advice to all who became his chief disciples, saying so. These profound Kadampa instructions were received by Ra Yonten Pal Zangpo, who stayed at the great monastery of Narthang for three years, from Palden Dondrup, who was renowned as the Narthang Khenpo, a master who turned the wheel of accomplishment. Initially, the instruction on the three types of individuals was: Jowo (Atisha) to Ngok Lekpai Sherab, who passed it on to Drolungpa Lodro Jungne. From him, Gewei Shenyen Tsang Nakpa Tsondru Sengge heard it, and Gtumton Lodro Drakpa, the founder of Narthang Monastery, requested it. During the final of three assemblies held by Gewei Shenyen Sharawa, he said to Gtumton, "You should establish a monastery in the direction of Tsang, which will greatly benefit beings. My patron, the Naga King Tangzung, who fulfills the nine needs, will also follow you." On the way to Yarlung, a large, tiger-striped bee with a loud buzzing sound hovered above Gtumton's path. At night, it would circle inside his begging bowl. When they arrived at the current courtyard of Narthang Monastery, the bee dissolved into the tree that stands there today. Considering it the place prophesied by his lama, he established the monastery. The texts on generating faith, the texts on adorning the earth, and the texts on discipline, conduct, and view are known as the Six Kadampa Texts. Later, Chim Namkha Drakpa, without losing the original oral tradition, annotated and categorized the texts, and composed the "Flower Ornament of the Jataka Tales," supplementing the Jataka Tales of Chomral, imparting it from his mouth to the ears of those to be tamed. Furthermore, he widely propagated the Lamrim (Stages of the Path) he had heard from Gewei Shenyen Sharawa himself, and its oral instructions were later cited by Chim Lozangpa.

All those who possess the clear Dharma eye consider this to be their own. It is said that the teaching seats of both the large and small Dharma assemblies of Horka IV are modeled after this. Tumtonpa, in his later years, returned to his birthplace in the north, where he propagated the Dharma in a place known as Cholung Kunra, and eventually passed away. The guidance on the equality of samsara and nirvana was heard by Musmenpa, a student of Geshe Jhayulwa, from Drupdra Drutsi Drakpa, the seat of Tumtonpa. The guidance on the Great Madhyamaka was transmitted from Nagarjuna and his son, and Chandrakirti heard it from the Nepalese Benyapa. He transmitted it to Dzi Lungpa Ozer Drakpa, and Drotön requested it from him and it flourished. There are also those who believe that the transmission of the Madhyamaka view and guidance of Jetsun Redawa from Upper Ngari is also similar, but this is uncertain. This is the fundamental Madhyamaka, known as the old tradition, without distinguishing between Svatantrika and Prasangika. The distinctive feature of Redawa is that he flawlessly follows the Prasangika view of the venerable Chandrakirti's treatises. The secret guidance of the Kadampa was also heard by Musmenpa directly from the virtuous friend Shawopo Gangpa, and Drotönpa received it from him. These three individuals, along with the equality of samsara and nirvana, the Great Madhyamaka, and the secret guidance, are known as the four great guidances of the Kadampa. As for the guidance on the four deities of the Kadampa, it is said that when Sangye Gompa Chenpo went to U-Tsang, he stopped at Langtang and heard it from Geshe Zhangpa of the Langri Tangpa seat, and it flourished. Later, some called this guidance on the four deities the holders of the Kadampa teachings, but the guidance on Avalokiteśvara did not go beyond the understanding of Zamatok in the Smar guidance of the Chandrakirti tradition, and the guidance on Achala also seems to be mixed with the expanded coverings of the upper tantras such as tummo, illusory body, dream, and clear light. At this time, the very act of looking up and down with the right and left eyes of Achala is the main guidance for accomplishment. The virtuous friend Nezurwa meditated in this way, and when he looked up, he saw what the shepherd was doing on the rock. When he looked down, he saw a Buddha-field below, as is known from previous histories.
