These are the essence-meaning body, which is the Buddha, and will become the perfect Buddha. Having understood this, towards all sentient beings seen, one should practice with devotion and genuine respect, prostrations, offerings, and receiving their empowerments, etc., one should train in vast conduct like the ocean. Third, the profound view has four: the yoga of emptiness, the yoga of equality, the yoga of inexpressibility, the yoga of non-conceptuality. First, there are two: meditative equipoise and subsequent attainment. First, there are two: meditating on calm abiding and seeking insight. First, there are three: the very equality of mind, the very abiding of mind, and the entering into the spontaneously accomplished mind. The first is: initially, during the day, one should equally place the mind on the very appearance of the present, without being distracted elsewhere. This is the time of merely initially placing the mind equally. At night, one should think about one's own mind, and having become slightly accustomed, one should mainly place the mind equally on the mind. As it says in the Ornament of the Sutras, "And for placing mind on mind," and in the same, "And for abiding equally on oneself." And so on. Second, the very abiding of mind is: after that, in order to prevent excitement and dullness from arising, one should place mindfulness and awareness like a guard, because at that time one suspects that excitement and dullness have arisen. Third, entering into spontaneous accomplishment is: like that, having been protected by respect and continuous yoga, no matter what, without relying on mindfulness and awareness, the continuum of mind abides without distraction, which is the arising of spontaneous accomplishment. Like that, calm abiding is completely perfected, so until the measure and signs of calm abiding have arisen, one should meditate until then. The measure of that is: the object to which one has entrusted appears in the mind, and others do not appear, and it appears at whatever time one wants, and it appears for as long as one wants, that is, it is made the basis until the aggregates of life are destroyed. Of the two signs, the inner sign is definitely: this very arising of the spontaneously accomplished mind, and the outer sign is: this very body without movement, very light, and the spontaneous accomplishment of happiness and so on.

From this, it arises. Second, the superior seeing is that if this clarity is not examined, it is only pleasing to the mind. If it is examined and analyzed, then it is determined that there is no birth of establishment at all, and one meditates with one-pointed mind. If the object of unborn cannot be clarified, then clarify and meditate by repeatedly reciting "unborn, unreal." As the venerable Maitreya said, "Bodhisattvas in meditative equipoise do not see all meanings clearly except for the expression of the mind." In this case, no matter how much distraction there is, it does not become an obstacle to virtuous practice. Rather, by knowing it as a clarification of unborn, unreal, it is turned into a companion for increasing emptiness virtuous practice, just like adding wood to a burning fire. At the end of the session, release and rest as before. Second, post-meditation has two aspects: clarifying the view and training in vast conduct. First, in the post-meditation after rising from that meditative equipoise, whatever actions of the three doors are done, one should not be separated from the previous view of emptiness by reciting "unborn, emptiness." Second, for those sentient beings who have not realized this and grasp as real what is not real, generate unfeigned compassion, and for their sake, knowing that what appears as ultimate is without inherent existence, like an illusion, teach the Dharma of emptiness, and train in the vast conduct of bodhisattvas such as prostrations, circumambulations, erecting stupas, reciting dharani mantras, giving, and patience. Second, the yoga of equality has two aspects: meditative equipoise and post-meditation. First, the preliminaries are performed as before. Since there is no difference between appearance as false and emptiness as true, one clarifies equality, which is free from all extremes such as appearance and emptiness, truth and falsehood, and meditates with one-pointed mind. If the object does not remain, then clarify by reciting "equality, equality." At this time, turn all distractions into companions for virtuous practice, and at the end of the session, release and rest, acting as before. Post-meditation has two aspects: clarifying the view and training in vast conduct. First, in all the post-meditation after rising from that meditative equipoise,
