The all-knowing Buton Chöje, master of the doctrine of the realm. The kind root guru at the crown of my mendicant monk's head. I pray from the depths of my heart, please protect me with inseparable compassion. The heart essence of the accomplished Mitra Joki, the profound and vast quintessence. Remembrance dispels the pain of the heart, mind guidance like the coolness of the moon. The ear-transmitted liberation of the all-knowing Buton, the rest of the mind. For the yogi, my share has become nectar for the ears. Having tamed with the common path, the field of faith is fertile. Having planted refuge and bodhicitta yoga like seeds. With purity, the sprout of the mind, the perfect and flourishing activity. The practice of persevering in the three doors is measured by valid cognition. The blessings radiate, the pure land of the root lineage gurus. Devotion blooms with a thousand petals, in the center of my fortunate heart. The praying bees buzz, the mantra of the fifty letters. The honey of experience and realization pours forth, the old eagle guru knows. With the vows of the three seals, straighten the channels, winds, and essential points of the mind. Seeing all phenomena of existence, samsara, and nirvana as the play of one's own mind. The nature of mind is free from the four extremes, like the expanse of bliss and emptiness in the sky. The king of decisive views, striving for the liberation of the Middle Way. Like the skilled cowherd who winds his hair and the crow flying from the ship. With the key points of tightening and loosening, perfecting the three skills of calm abiding and insight. Having seen through all fabricated elaborations, empty and clear. Meditating on the yoga of the unexcelled sky, whether abiding or not abiding. Inseparable from the inexpressible experience of great bliss, held by mindfulness. Whatever arises is free from acceptance or rejection, transforming the nature of reality into the path. Whatever is done becomes beneficial to others, the action of aimless compassion. The spontaneously arising, unimpeded conduct, bursts forth as the mind of the Buddha. The Indian pandits and siddhas, like releasing a bird after a secret consultation. Like scattering stars in the ocean, establishing many profound instructions. Possessing the three confidences, the heart words of the Buton guru. This is the profound introduction to the nature of mind and its rest. Nowadays, in the dregs of the teachings, brass sells better than gold. Thinking of the changes of the times, sadness wells up from the heart. Whatever action is examined, there is little essence. I will make retreat in a solitary mountain the essence of practice.

Furthermore, this song of guidance on resting the mind itself is spoken by the monk Lo Sol Tenkyong. Sanskrit Romanization: sarvadā kalyāṇam bhavatu, Literal Chinese Meaning: May all times be auspicious). The method of explaining the Great Seal of Resting the Mind Itself, the nectar-like appearance of the Guru's oral instructions, is present. The wisdom body of all the Buddhas with their sons, I respectfully bow to the Guru Padmasambhava. I will briefly explain the nectar-like appearance of the method of explaining the Guru's oral instructions on resting the mind itself. Here, the heart essence of the great accomplished Mitra Joki, through the stages of the Great Seal of Resting the Mind Itself, guides fortunate disciples to the state of Buddhahood. Initially, The teacher himself, seated comfortably on a cushion, possessing the conduct of meditative absorption, then contemplates the specific practices to be transmitted to the disciple today, according to their suitability. Having trained the mind through the common path, the disciples who have fully received the four empowerments of any of the unsurpassed yoga mandalas and possess vows and commitments are bathed. After offering prostrations and gifts, they are seated in their respective rows. The teacher urges the recitation of the lineage prayer, and the Vajra Master urges the offering of the thirty-seven-heap mandala. The disciples silently recite the mantra of the teacher subduing obstacles three times. Then, motivated by pure, unadulterated love and great compassion desiring to liberate from samsara, he should advise as follows: For the sake of all sentient beings, as numerous as mothers and as vast as space, may we swiftly attain the state of complete perfect enlightenment, the union of Vajradhara, in this very lifetime. For that purpose, listen to the profound stages of guidance and practice their meaning accordingly. Generate such supreme bodhicitta. The conduct of listening to the Dharma should also be as stated in the Sutra of the Excellent Son: "Sit on a low seat, cultivate the splendor of gentleness, look with joyful eyes, words like drinking nectar. With pure and stainless wisdom, like a patient listening to the doctor's instructions, respectfully serve and listen to the Dharma." As it is said. Not focusing on the meaning of the words of the Dharma is a fault like an overturned vessel. Even if focusing on the meaning, not retaining it with mindfulness and awareness is like a vessel with a hole in the bottom.
