The great bliss without outflows, and the self-luminous nature, without any conceptualization anywhere. In the state where the fruit of such bliss, clarity, and non-conceptualization is manifest, the good yogis with the eye of wisdom completely purified in the profound meaning should always remain in equipoise. Second, the introduction to the perfection of practice, which is accomplished by the three combinations of beginning, middle, and end, such as great compassion. First, the combination of means: for beings equal to the sky, placing great compassion, a mind equal to the ocean, in front, that is, going ahead, vowing to follow the vast conduct of the Bodhisattva, which is equal to Mount Meru. Second, the combination of wisdom: constantly observing without distraction the very nature of that thought and action, examining with the wisdom of individually discriminating and knowing the object. Third, the combination of blessings: meditating on the chosen deity and supplicating through the door of Guru Yoga. Such a combination allows practitioners to rest in the state of great bliss when they are tired of their own mental fabrications. Third, transforming the obstacles to practice into the path through the three combinations of beginning, middle, and end of conceptual thoughts, such as "son, listen." Calling one's own son by a close name, saying, "You listen," that is, instructing without distraction to what should be listened to. First, what should be transformed into the path: all the conceptual thoughts that arise in your mindstream. Second, the reason why it is possible to transform it into the path: because that conceptual thought did not initially bind me in this great ocean of samsara, nor did it ultimately liberate me. For example, when the image of the moon appears in a water vessel, the water vessel does not bind the image, and when the vessel breaks and the water flows away, the image of the moon is not liberated either, just as the moon in the sky does not move from its own nature. From the moment a conceptual thought arises, the nature of reality does not move from its own place. Third, the practice of how to transform it: first, remaining without distraction, like a barber entering the battlefield. In the middle, grasping without alteration, like a skilled elephant trainer training an elephant. Finally, letting go at will, like a skilled person flying a bird from a pond. These are the extensive instructions.

As it appears in the text. This instruction is the essence of the essence of this treatise, a special method for transforming discursive thoughts into the path. Therefore, it is introduced with the exclamation "Alas!" to advise all sentient beings who, from beginningless time, have been exhausted in the ocean of suffering of samsara, to rest in the realm of primordial, naturally luminous nature by relying on such a method. Second, the introduction for those of lower faculties is divided into three: For the sharpest of the lower faculties, the introduction reveals the stainless awareness, which is the introduction of the three unions; for the middling of the lower faculties, the introduction cuts off the root of grasping and being grasped, which is the introduction of the three doors; for the dullest of the lower faculties, the introduction dissolves characteristics into the dharmadhatu, which is the introduction of the three negations and affirmations. The first is also divided into three. First, the three examples and meanings are of equal taste, explaining the union of calm abiding and insight: such as images, etc., images and real objects, echoes and real sounds, what is directly seen by the senses, and experiences in dreams, are well examined in the mind of recollection. The appearance is the appearance of images, etc., and the essence is real objects, etc., but they are also not established by nature. Having understood that all phenomena are merely appearances and have no truth, all objects that give rise to attachment and aversion are not established by nature. When the knowing consciousness knows that there is no reality, all grasping and being grasped will be liberated in their own place. Based on this, calm abiding, in which the mind remains in one-pointed concentration, is accomplished, so the relationship of that and that arising is established. And one should practice the application of insight meditation to exhaust the means of abandoning characteristics. First, place the object of meditation, which is one-pointed, in front. In the middle, remain in that one-pointedness by recognizing one's own face. Finally, exhaust the subtle distinctions of the mind with that object of focus. Second, dispel the darkness of obscurations by lighting the lamp of the three wisdoms: such as individual discrimination, etc. By analyzing all movements of knowing with the wisdom of individual discrimination, one knows that they are without nature. Finally, one knows that the wisdom of individual discrimination is also separate from its basis. In the state of pacifying the grasping of the knowable and the knowing mind, constantly and continuously meditate, and the stream of wisdom will arise.
