With compassion in mind, Arising with (Tibetan: གིས་, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Literal meaning:) like wild animals in the mountains. Benefiting others by adapting to various capacities, and integrating various methods into practice, like a monkey, these are the three. The three key points for bringing the path to completion are: pacifying the suffering of desire, eliminating the disease of afflictions, and being the most supreme among all great Dharmas. Possessing these three qualities is like sandalwood. Adversity cannot shake its roots, favorable conditions cannot bend its top, and it transcends all ordinary consciousness. Possessing these three qualities is like the trunk of a tree. Severing the attachment to characteristics, breaking away from the life of clinging, and having no calculations of what to take or leave. Possessing these three qualities is like a corpse. Thus, symbolized by nine metaphors, wise individuals who understand the profound meaning should integrate emptiness into yoga. Second, the six intermediate metaphors are: like water on a cliff, etc. Thus, strongly generating various different kinds of conceptual thoughts, not interrupted by non-conceptualization and equanimity, and being extremely swift, like a flash of lightning. Possessing these three qualities is like a stream flowing down a cliff. All the activities of conceptual thought are equal in taste in the state of Dharmata, and in the state of conceptual thought, abiding in an unmoving state, and whatever external activities arise, they are pacified in an unaltered state. Possessing these three qualities is like a great ocean. This second meaning of the metaphor is the method of stabilizing the mind. Holding onto true realization more dearly than one's own heart, never being willing to part with that realization, and whatever arises from the power of realization is not considered a fault. Possessing these three qualities is like a mother with an only child. Being internally tight, sometimes relaxed, and being skilled in the characteristics of going and returning. Possessing these three qualities is like an elephant walking. These two are the limbs that make abiding stable. Not clinging to inferior views, therefore being lofty, being free from the suffering of grasping and being grasped, therefore being cool, and maintaining an unchanging posture no matter what obstacles or faults arise. Possessing these three qualities is like a snow mountain. Being pure because it is free from the defilement of substantial clinging, and external appearances and

My wisdom and dharma are clear without any obscuration, and through the means of faith and compassion, they can be transformed into anything. Possessing the three dharmas, like a pure crystal ball, these two are the key to perfecting stability. Having become accustomed in this way, if the mind naturally transforms from clinging to objects, it is called establishing the foundation of samadhi. The third is an inner analogy: First, go forward. Like this, all the thoughts that arise, in the beginning, middle, and end, are successively separated from the four roots of object, master, cause, and immediate condition, like illusory horses and cows. Because one's own nature is not established as it is, it is merely a designation, actually empty, like the son of a barren woman, without function, like a dream axe cutting down a dream tree. In short, all phenomena that appear and are thought of are similar to dream appearances. The similarity is that in a dream, even though a lamp appears bright, the source or basis of the lamp, namely the lampstand, wick, oil, and fire, and the very nature of the lamp, which is to burn redly, and the light that dispels darkness from half of the lamp, and the darkness that is dispelled, all of these are not established by nature. Similarly, all phenomena that appear and are thought of, in the state of knowing their emptiness of not being established by nature, with great compassion without any object, becoming unshakeably accustomed, all signs will be liberated in themselves, and pure activity will be spontaneously accomplished. Third, the final introduction for those of middling faculties has three points. The first point is the introduction to awakening the stainless wisdom to be realized through the three points of experience, such as going and coming. Like this, the dharma to be realized is the three of bliss, clarity, and non-thought, and the characteristics of these three dharmas are the three that are separate from the three of going, coming, and abiding, and their reality is emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, which are the three doors of liberation. That is to say, the three thoughts of going, coming, and abiding, initially the cause of arising, in the middle the essence of existence, and finally the thought of the result of cessation, all of these are the emptiness of emptiness, purified in the three doors of liberation.
