Without indulging in distraction, but abiding in the unaltered mind. Thus, transforming the emptiness of form into the unconditioned luminosity, or the immutable great bliss. Therefore, Saraha said, "Having enjoyed food that conforms and does not conform to the Dharma, there is not even a particle of fault in this." And, "The original nature, no one can describe." Therefore, having practiced the yoga of signs for many years, or, having made the pronouncement on the authority of just the first bhumi. Without this later path-application, it is impossible to transform the emptiness of form into immutable great bliss. For, this is definitely the sole key to causing the winds and mind to dissolve into the central channel. Because, that alone is the one reality, therefore, there is only one wisdom that sees it. Therefore, it is also said in the tantras, "Earth is thoroughly absorbed into water, and water also into fire, which purifies into wind. Wind into emptiness, and emptiness necessarily transforms into ten aspects of signs, and the signs transform into all aspects, becoming the inexhaustible supreme bliss, the indestructible wisdom body. From wisdom arise miraculous powers and siddhis, in this very life of beings." And, "Entering the vajra path." The vajra path spoken of is the central channel, and there the winds and mind dissolve. When earth, fire, and Isvara cease, at the time when amrita flows, the wind enters the mind. When the four unions have entered into one place, the supreme great bliss cannot be contained in the realm of space. As it is said in the Compendium, "By the union that binds action, the three places are to be accomplished." The three places are the three kayas of body, speech, and mind. As it is also said, "Vajra posture, complete enlightenment." Secondly, the yoga of daytime is: if only four signs are perfected, and others are difficult to arise, then the yoga of daytime is taught. The essential point of the body, the manner of looking, and the method of settling the mind are the same as the first. However, the difference is that when looking, in the morning face west, in the afternoon face east, and at noon focus the eyes and mind single-pointedly on the clear blue cloudless sky to the north. Here, although various signs may also arise, the main ones are: the appearance of yellow blazing bindus, a white moon, a red sun, a blue Rahu, and a large lightning bindu. Here also, having seen the blazing bindu, clear it away with the yoga of space, and later it will arise.
