The first practice is that all purposes are accomplished through trust in the supreme sentient being, so to demonstrate this, the rest are added by the accomplished masters as a supreme means, depending on the order of those to be tamed, in order to accomplish the former. Therefore, the completion stage is actually for generating wisdom, as Naropa and his sons said. Here, it is very clear, like seeing these signs in one day. The second is to mix the dharmadhatu and awareness and abide in equanimity, the dharmadhatu is the sign of smoke, etc. Awareness is the consciousness that sees the face of reality. Mixing is to introduce consciousness into that sign, that is, to look at it with one-pointedness. That is, the mind should be grasped as being like the sky. The mind should be grasped as being the nature of the sky. If the mind is made non-mind, There is no doubt that supreme accomplishment will be attained. Thus it is said. In this way, the appearance of smoke is naturally liberated, and the mirage appears clearly. Likewise, by doing so, the later ones will appear one after another. This is the quick method of purifying the previous signs and entering the subsequent signs. The third is to abide in equanimity in the original state, free from thought and expression, and when one does not dwell in it and is distracted, one relaxes and abides in the first thought. That is, for the unborn, the sudden thought, the thought itself is the magical display of the dharmadhatu. Since thought is non-existent in essence, if it is seen directly, it will disappear, just as knowing that a lie is a lie. That is, if the yogi of non-thought abides in himself, then these signs will not move. If he does not abide, it will move. Therefore, do not doubt the appearance of signs, but simply rely on it and abide without distraction. In this way, the signs will not disappear, but will become like a nail driven in. That is, if it is bound, it will try to go in ten directions. If it is released, it will abide unmoving and stable. I understand it to be like an inverted drum. Thus it is said. The fourth is that after the signs of smoke, mirage, fireflies, lamps, etc. are complete, one should learn. Looking at where this mind comes from, it does not come from anywhere. Therefore, it is determined to be unborn. Even if it is unborn, it should be determined that it is not suddenly born, but unborn from the very beginning. Abiding in that state. The birth of things is completely pacified like the sky, after purity and complete abandonment, what else can be born?

From the very beginning, it is unborn and of its own nature. Today, I realized it because the Lama Gonpo showed it. So it is said. Here, if the mind, both the object of cognition and the subject of cognition, is established as an objective thing of the object of cognition, then the subject of cognition can also be valid. Just as nothing that can be cognized is found on top of what can be cognized, the subject of cognition is also abandoned as something that can be cognized. Therefore, the true emptiness of emptiness by its own nature is not seen. In this way, Seeing the face of emptiness on top of appearance is called emptiness with all kinds of excellence. The meaning is to know that the empty form is like a phantom. Because the illusion is used as a metaphor to reverse the clinging to the Dharma, seeing the illusion alone has become the supreme means of destroying the clinging to reality. Because appearance is the appearance of a perverse mind, it appears as if it does not exist. If you see what is not perverse, the perverse will disappear. At that time, as the illusion gradually disappears, the knowledge of the non-false appearance will increase more and more. Therefore, as the experience continues to improve, if you are diligent at night, six signs of the day will appear. In the light with such signs, empty forms and sound images of all kinds will appear. After the Gyalwang Rinpoche, one should not inappropriately say that such an empty form is the Dharmakaya, nor should one slander it as an illusion, but it is better to directly establish it as an experiential appearance. This method is also the method of distinguishing the boundaries of the path shown by the three appearances in the Vajra verses of the sayings of the Yogi Virupa. The definition of experiential appearance also transcends the minds of sentient beings, and is in a state where the Buddha's intention has not yet been realized as it is, and is only the experience of the appearance of the self-luminous nature arising from the yogi's practice of the path.
