Bend the neck. This is to stimulate the key points of the veins in the back. The posture of the peaceful and wrathful elephant is: kneeling, with both hands in fists supporting the cheeks. The elbows are propped on a stool, or the legs are stretched out. This allows one to move from the state of equalizing wind yoga to the state of downward-moving wind. Alternatively, in the lotus position, lean the body back, with both hands in vajra fists supporting the lower back, or lie supine with the legs slightly extended, performing the lotus union, and cross the hands in fists in front of the chest, which guides the life force downwards. The gaze for these two postures is the nectar swirl. The posture of the peaceful sage is similar to the posture of a lion, with the hands crossed in vajra fists in front of the chest. Alternatively, squat, raise the heels, and grasp the ears with the hands crossed in fists. For the rounded leg posture, it is also said that the vajra fists are placed at the base of the thighs. These are all key points that stimulate the veins of the upper and lower parts separately. The gaze for these two postures is looking downwards. Therefore, although it is thought that two combinations of these postures are sufficient, it is better to do all six. The six postures have two ways of describing them, the former ones are according to the words of Dharma King Penchen, etc. And those after "or" are recorded according to the scattered instructions of the great accomplished woman Yumo, and as seen in some practices of the heart-son of Kunpang Chenpo, Latöpa Wangyal, etc. These latter ones seem a bit rough. Either of these two sets of six postures is sufficient, so there is no need to combine both. There is also a practice of doing this in three sessions, but in the quick guide it is done in one session, which is the thirty-fifth contemplation. Next is the purification guidance: inhale the lower wind, and exhale the upper wind with a long "Hum" sound. Visualize the five chakras in sequence with "Ja Hum Bam Hoh He," forcefully pressing down the upper wind. Visualize the five chakras in sequence with "Li U Ri I A," accompanied by sounds from the abdomen, forcefully drawing the secret wind upwards. Immediately, hold the union at the navel and release it outwards. Tighten the lower gate and focus the awareness on the forehead. The previous six body postures each

Above, one needs to strive in these breathing exercises. Apart from the difference in body posture, the key points of the wind energy are almost the same as holding the vase breath. The thirty-sixth contemplation. Again, assume a meditation posture and tuck in the knees. Make what is known as the "six hearth bindings," coordinate with Hāriṃ, and clench the hands into fists. Extend the arms until the elbows touch the knees, and then exhale. Repeat this seven times, and then cross the hands in opposite directions. Hold the gentle breath and take a rest. The thirty-seventh contemplation. Meditate on these for at least a month. The second is, squat down and tuck in the hips. Wrap the hands from the inside of the thighs and grasp the front of the shins. Exhale forcefully from the mouth, and release the lower gate. Inhale again, keeping the abdomen protruding outwards. Release the lower gate again and hold the breath as much as possible. This is the first key point of wind energy, and it is related to mixing downwards and holding, called "separation and combination." Again, similarly to this, during both inhalation and exhalation, bring the abdomen close to the ribs, strongly expel downwards, pull the upper body, and press down on the front of the shins. This is the second key point of wind energy, related to mixing upwards and bending, called "door latch." Again, while maintaining the same body posture. After strongly alternating downward expulsion, exhale, and perform a strong emptiness pull. Inhale again, and in the state of mouth closure and full pull, move the abdomen, like stirring. Twist the upper body, extend the arms and clench the fingers. Tighten the throat, shake the head, and then exhale. Hold the breath outwards, stand like a pillar, and bend and move the head. The throat, upper body, and the area up to the navel are done as before. Perform trembling and shaking on all of these, and finally perform subjugation. This is the third key point of wind energy. This is called "all gathered." Sit in the lotus position, with both hands clenched into fists pressing on the thighs. Bend slightly and draw in the downward expulsion while saying Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum). The emptiness pull is performed in the three directions of left, right, and center. Again, with mouth closure and breath, pull upwards, turn the head, and the emanation is also performed in the three directions of left, right, and center. This is the fourth key point of wind energy. This is called "gathered," and these two are pulling and pervading. These should be done one after the other, and effort should also be put into physical exercise. The thirty-eighth contemplation. These are done according to the quick guidance, but if it can be accomplished, then it is best to perform one contemplation for each breathing exercise, for all of these
