Apart from the difference in visualizing the white wheel, the red wheel of the throat, the black wheel of the crown, the green wheel of the topknot, and the blue wheel of the secret place, other vase breaths are also visualized in the same way as before. These six bindu yogas are gathered into one visualization cycle, which is the thirty-fourth visualization cycle. Generally, extracting the essence of holding is similar to extracting the essence of life-sustaining prana, and the gains and extractions here also apply to the case of life-sustaining prana. Second, to impress the meaning of practice on the mind includes six aspects: the meaning of the name of holding, the time limit of practice, the limbs of the method of practice, the signs of practice, the distinction between what is to be purified and what can purify, and the fruit obtained by practice. First, the Sanskrit word Dharana (Tibetan: འཛིན་པ་) means holding, which can refer to both what is held and what can hold, so there are various translations, but here it refers to the meaning of holding when the wind does not move. If we consider the actual limbs of holding, we practice holding when the wind constantly descends into the central channel, and when the life force and the downward-clearing air are mixed. The practice that is in accordance with it is similar to life-sustaining prana. Third, the limbs of the method of practice have five points. First, the object of holding is the wind of bliss, that is, the wind mixed with the indestructible bindu. Second, the necessity of practice is to firmly bind the mind of enlightenment, and to accomplish the root of the blazing appearance of fierce fire, which can truly guide the unchanging bliss of the special empty form. Third, the length of time for practice depends on whether one can freely fill the five or six chakras, or the vase breath as one wishes. Fourth, the nature of holding itself is stated in the tantra: "The life force completely enters the bindu, cutting off the movement of both, and holding the mind with one-pointedness." Generally, at the location of the five or six chakras, the winds of above, below, left, and right dissolve into the bindu of the central channel; especially when it reaches completion, the life force completely enters the bindu of the forehead, the bindu does not leak, and the samadhi of holding the mind firmly on the forehead. Fifth, how to practice holding, for beginners, the method of practice that is in accordance with holding is the same as what was said above.
