The Fifteenth Volume of the Instructions Treasury: Profound Path Vajra Yoga Guidance, "Seeing is Meaningful". The Fifteenth Volume of the Instructions Treasury. Profound Path Vajra Yoga Guidance, "Seeing is Meaningful". This concludes the Profound Path Vajra Yoga Guidance, "Seeing is Meaningful". Om Swasti! Namo Guru Buddha Bodhisattvebhyah! This is the Profound Path Vajra Yoga Guidance, "Seeing is Meaningful," the single path of all victorious ones and their children. I prostrate to the Lama and glorious Vajrasattva! I prostrate to the unchanging bliss and the wisdom of the union of Mahamudra! I also prostrate to the holy ones who are truly delighted by the nectar of supreme accomplishment! May the one who is the basis of all perfections, Who grants the supreme state as desired, Who constantly bestows upon all beings, At the feet of the Lama, I respectfully bow! May the all-pervading space be all forms, May the nature of mind be the treasure of all qualities, May the indivisible, primordially liberated Dharmakaya, The inner knowing, the unchanging ultimate, be victorious! May the stream of instructions that has filled the vase of essence from the hundreds of thousands of rivers of tantras, Which manifestly surpasses the great ocean of intelligence, Make this direction fortunate through the lineage of instructions! Here, the unsurpassed essence of all Sutras and Tantras, the source of all mundane and supramundane siddhis, the supreme and ultimate path that is the single path of all Buddhas of the three times, the entrance of all yogic powers, the swift and special path by which individuals endowed with the six elements and the Vajra body can be truly established in the supreme fruit of Buddhahood in a single lifetime, a single body, a single birth, is the meaning hidden by Vajra words in the king of tantras and other collections. It is openly taught without concealment in the glorious Kalachakra Tantra, and it is the supreme meaning taught with one intention and one voice in all the extensive root tantras, such as the Supreme First Buddha. This Mahamudra Yoga, the six-branched practice, or the so-called Profound Path Vajra Yoga, is a path endowed with three kinds of faith. Thus, it should be guided.

In order to become a suitable vessel for the profound path of Vajra Yoga, there are the preliminary instructions, the actual practice of the profound path of Vajra Yoga in stages, and the subsequent limbs of the path. These are the three parts, including the assembly of yogas. The first part has the common preliminaries and the uncommon preliminaries. First, the common preliminaries include: taking refuge and generating bodhicitta as the preliminary for all Dharma practices, the meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva to purify sins and obscurations, and the Mandala Guru Yoga to complete accumulations and receive blessings. Although there is also a tradition of making these into three focal points, it is better to make it five focal points in order to gradually cultivate experience and guidance. Therefore, it should be done like this: the refuge instruction is the root of all Dharma, the bodhicitta instruction is the root of the Mahayana, the hundred-syllable mantra instruction is for purifying sins and obscurations, the mandala instruction is for accumulating merit, and the Guru Yoga instruction is the root of blessings. These are the five instructions. First, in a secluded place, sit in a comfortable posture with the body aligned. Relax the mind. Then, visualize this place where you are staying as a great and vast pure land. In the center of it, there is a palace made of various jewels, with unlimited size and dimensions. In the center of the palace, there is a wish-fulfilling tree, with branches, leaves, flowers, and fruits in full bloom. On top of it, there is a jeweled throne supported by lions, with various lotuses, suns, and moons stacked on top, forming a high and wide seat. The root guru appears in the form of Vajradhara, surrounded by the lineage gurus and all the mandala deities of the yidam deities. At the base of the tree, there are dakinis, Dharma protectors, and Dharma protectors with eyes of wisdom, as well as a sea of Dharma protectors, all abiding in a manner of protecting me. In the four directions of the wish-fulfilling tree, on the ground inside the palace, visualize clearly one high and wide seat each, made of a lion throne, lotus, sun, and moon. In front of the guru's body, visualize the emanations of the supreme Buddhas of the ten directions and three times, such as the glorious Shakyamuni Buddha. On the right side, visualize Manjushri.
