All parts between the throat and the central and lateral channels are unobstructed. It goes through the path of the two channels to the navel. When staying, think that it is completely filled in the central channel only. At first, the three stages of arising, entering, and staying are done simultaneously. Gradually, the staying time will become longer and longer. Also, if it is passing through the right nostril, visualize the breath as a red light. If it is passing through the left nostril, visualize it as a white light. If it is passing through both at the same time, visualize it as a green or blue light. Meditate on these three stages of arising, light, and staying. This is the second of the Vajra recitation. When exhaling, the left nostril is blocked. When inhaling, the right nostril is blocked. Some practices are like this, but it is not necessary in the Vajra recitation. Then, as before, when exhaling, the light is accompanied by the sound of Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal meaning: Ah). Visualize the end of the light going out with the letter Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal meaning: Ah). When it comes in, it is accompanied by the sound of Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om). Visualize the end of the returning light coming back with the letter Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om). These two letters do not go in and out from the left and right channels, but visualize them going in and out only from the central channel. When staying, visualize the sound of Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum) in the central channel, and focus the mind on the letter Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum) at the navel. The color of the letters is also the same as the breath. When the left and right pass through at the same time, the colors are red, white, and blue. These are the Vajra recitations with objects of focus. It is the third main part of the Vajra recitation. Combining these three is one great object of focus, which is one of the fourteen visualizations of the main practice. Now, for beginners, there is no better Vajra recitation than this. The ultimate Vajra recitation is when the three aspects of the breath, going in, going out, and staying, are known to be inseparable from the empty form Mahamudra. It is the name for realizing that all names, words, and expressions are like illusions. Second, introducing the life force into the central channel through the combination of gentle breath filling and releasing: Observe which nostril the breath is passing through. If the breath is passing through the left nostril, press the left armpit and breast with the palm of the right hand, and then press with the left elbow. Expel waste air, and block the right nostril with the thumb of the left hand. Inhale forcefully and deeply from the left nostril, pressing towards the navel. Hold the breath for a while, until discomfort arises. Block the left nostril with the index finger of the left hand, and then first turn to the right, exhaling forcefully from the right nostril.

Block the right nostril. Inhale from the left nostril and repeat the process to purify. Although the posture of stretching and bending the legs can be explained at this time, the lotus position is sufficient. The lower air must be bound in its place. This will cause the air to shift to the right nostril or become balanced. Also, if the air flows from the right nostril, reverse the mudra so that it flows from the left or becomes balanced. If you alternate between right and left several times, it will definitely become balanced. Once it becomes balanced, perform Vajra recitation in this way. If it sways from right to left, correct the previous crooked practice. Some people think so. However, once it becomes balanced, it is best to practice the filling yoga or the vase breathing. Therefore, it is better to add an elevating breathing exercise here. I think this is good. This is especially commendable for practicing longevity. Fifteenth contemplation cycle. Third, the practice of rough air vase breathing binds the life air to the central channel: It is best to stay in a balanced state from the beginning. If it is in a crooked state, make it balanced by the above practice. Although the round sitting posture and the hands crossed in front of the heart are described, it is sufficient to do it from the lotus position. From the three places of left, right and center, blow three times each in a slow, strong and very strong manner, for a total of nine times. At this time, the downward air is exhaled. Then, inhale the upper air slightly faster and swallow saliva while pressing it towards the navel. After that, guide from the three places of the downward air, left, right and center, and hold your breath at the navel as much as possible. If it feels unbearable, do not release it outwards, but take three small breaths and press down. If it is still unbearable, exhale slowly and finally exhale completely. Practice like this, if you rotate around the knees and recite thirty-six small pebbles, it is inferior; reciting seventy-two times is medium; reciting one hundred and eight times is called superior. The key points of these contemplations are: If signs of clear light appear in the body, then focus the mind on the empty form that appears at the navel. If not, then focus the mind on where the empty form appears. Until the empty form appears, there is no need to fabricate a support for contemplation. Just focus the mind on the center of the body, directly in front of the navel.
