Having arranged a four-pile mandala, visualize it as the source of various jewels, in the center of a clear ocean, Mount Meru, the four continents, the sun and moon, and the surrounding environment, filled with various offerings of gods and humans. Recite: OM NAMO GURU MANDALA PUJA MEGHA SAMUDRA SAPARANA SAMAYE HUM. Offer by reciting five or three times. Second, accumulating merit through one's own body: Visualize the yellow seed syllable TRAM (Tibetan: ཏྲཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: त्रं, Sanskrit Romanization: traṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: tra) residing on the crown of your head, melting and dissolving into yourself, thereby making your body a wish-fulfilling jewel-like heap, the source of various items needed by the lama and all kinds of desired things. Recite: OM NAMO GURU TRAM RATNA MANDALA PUJA MEGHA SAMUDRA SAPARANA SAMAYE HUM. Offer by reciting three times. Third, accumulating merit through various means: Visualize light radiating from the seed syllable in your heart, and from the tip of the light, countless goddesses of desire emerge, transforming into clouds of various offerings. Recite: OM NAMO GURU SARVA MANDALA PUJA MEGHA SAMUDRA SAPARANA SAMAYE HUM. Offer by reciting three times, and visualize that the guru is pleased, satisfied, and content. Third, relying on the path: I prostrate and take refuge in the noble lamas! Please bless me to quickly attain perfect enlightenment. Until I attain Buddhahood, please bless me to generate immeasurable faith and respect for the noble lamas. I prostrate and take refuge in the yidam deities! Please bless me to quickly attain perfect enlightenment. Until I attain Buddhahood, please bless me to generate immeasurable faith and respect for the yidam deities. I prostrate and take refuge in the assembly of dakinis! Please bless me to quickly attain perfect enlightenment. Until I attain Buddhahood, please bless me to generate immeasurable faith and respect for the assembly of dakinis. Lamas, yidams, and the assembly of dakinis, please consider me! I gather together all the roots of virtue that I have done in the past, future, and present, and offer them to the lama! Offering to the lama, the precious lama

May all these aspirations be completely fulfilled! May the root of virtue arising from this become an offering like the sky in the eyes of the Sugatas! May the root of virtue arising from this be dedicated in common with all sentient beings! Having dedicated in this way, may all sentient beings be liberated from the ocean of samsara, existence, and suffering, and quickly attain the precious Bodhi of unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment! Until that is attained, may I quickly manifest and become a Buddha, becoming the guru of all beings without exception! May it be accomplished just as it is! Thus, the most supreme refuge, the unsurpassed generation of bodhicitta, the wondrous offering, the dedication inseparable from sentient beings, and the aspiration that will surely benefit others, these five should be recited three times, five times, or seven times, etc., in short, until warmth arises in one's own mindstream. As said in the Essence of the Powerful King: By abandoning the essence of the object of refuge, one obtains two kinds of siddhis in the mindstream. Transfer the key point of the blessing lineage from above to above! Thus it is said. Second, the method of actually bestowing empowerment on the mindstream: the expression of sound and speech, the path of letters, the distinction of the four empowerments, the method of meditating on the four chakras, the distinction of introducing the root, the practice of both shamatha and vipashyana, the distinction of subsequent permission and transmission, and the method of urging the guru's samaya. The first is: A Ā. I Ī. U Ū. Ṛ Ṝ. Ḷ Ḹ. E AI. O AU. Aṃ Aḥ. Ka Kha Ga Gha Nga. Ca Cha Ja Jha Ña. Ṭa Ṭha Ḍa Ḍha Ṇa. Ta Tha Da Dha Na. Pa Pha Ba Bha Ma. Ya Ra La Va. Śa Ṣa Sa Ha Kṣaḥ. Having recited these four times, first, all forms that appear to the eye should be visualized as the form of letters, the essence of which is the guru's body. Second, all sounds that are heard by the ear should be visualized as the form of letters, the essence of which is the guru's speech. Third, all that is remembered in the mind should be visualized as the form of letters, the essence of which is the guru's mind. Fourth, the appearance, sound, and movement of these three, appearing as the guru's body, speech, and mind, all of these should be known as merely the self-display of the emptiness of one's own mind. Therefore, without needing to rely on continuous remembrance, all mantra recitations will be absorbed, and pure perception will arise towards objects.
