May Avalokiteśvara be adorned on the head by Amitabha. Visualize that around the seed-syllable in the heart of Tara, there are mantra syllables on each of the ten lotus petals, and from the light radiating from them, all temporary and ultimate fears are dispelled. Recite: Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha. (Tibetan: ༀ་ཏཱ་རེ་ཏུཏྟཱ་རེ་ཏུ་རེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ तारे तुत्तारे तुरे स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanized: oṃ tāre tuttāre ture svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Tara, Swift Tara, Great Tara, Svaha.) Visualize that around the seed-syllable in the heart of Manjushri, there is a mantra syllable on each of the six petals, and from the light radiating from them, the stains of ignorance are dispelled. Praise: Om, dwelling well in the Sandalwood forest, always watching over beings like a mother watching over her child, protecting from the eight fears, to Tara I prostrate! Possessing the body of youth, adorned with the lamp of wisdom, dispelling the darkness of the three realms, to Manjushri I prostrate! Not stained by the faults of samsara, the wish-fulfilling tree of the three realms, holding a white lotus in the left hand, to the holder of the knowledge-mantra I prostrate! Thus praise. After the mantra of each torma, offer by adding "Ah Karo". Pray that all the accomplishments be granted to me and all sentient beings. Thus pray. Then, have the disciples bathe, prostrate, and sit in order. As before, generate bodhicitta and give teachings. Here, from the first transmission of the Tara cycle, to accomplish the profound subsequent permission of the three deities, the activities of the master are completed. Now your activity is to first offer the mandala. Then, join the palms together with flowers, and repeat this prayer: Having completely abandoned the stains of afflictions, proclaiming the sound of delightful speech, the treasure of the supreme Dharma, please grant it to me, Lama. Recite three times. Then, visualize the disciple as Tara, with the seed-syllable in the heart. Light radiates from the heart of the master, striking the first mandala visualized in front, and Tara descends from the syllables of the lotus petals like one lamp dividing into two.
