Meditate on each of your seed syllables on the karani. Visualize yourself clearly as the Yidam, and from the seed syllable in your heart, red rays of light emanate, striking them. Tsa Nga! (Tibetan: ཙ་ལྔ) You, the oath-bound protectors and the retinue of the ocean of Damchen, please accept this torma adorned with sacred substances, and protect the Buddha's teachings! Praise the glory of the Three Jewels! Protect the Dharma wheel of the Sangha! Establish the victory banner of the undying Dharma! In particular, may all the obstructing enemies, demons, and obstacles that hinder us yogis and our retinue be quickly pacified and not arise. May life, merit, wealth, enjoyment, fame, power, Dharma lineage, realization, and so forth flourish and increase. Protect us from all the fears of this life, the next life, and the bardo, and quickly grant all the supreme and common accomplishments! Thus, the activity is entrusted. Also, on the occasion of great torma offerings, etc.: Those who slander the sacred body of the glorious and venerable Lama, those who refute the secrets of Vajrayana, those who become enemies of the Buddha's teachings, those who revile the glory of the Three Jewels, those who destroy the Dharma wheel of the Sangha, and those who harbor hatred towards us, the teachers, disciples, patrons, and retinue, those who harbor malice, those who harbor violence, and all beings, both human and non-human, who engage in perverse actions, evil-doers, and sinners, may all their evil thoughts and harsh actions be pacified! If they cannot be subdued by peaceful means, then may they be punished by violent means such as killing, tormenting, expelling, stiffening, stupefying and silencing, threatening and intimidating, and may they be destroyed like dust! Lama, Protector, and retinue, by offering this torma of worship, may those who revile the glory of the Three Jewels, refute the Mahayana, destroy the Dharma and create discord, slander the sacred body of the Lama, and hate us yogis, may they be liberated by the Great Black One! Amu-ka Ma-ra-ya Phat! (Tibetan: ཨ་མུ་ཀ་མཱ་ར་ཡ་ཕཊ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अमुक मारय फट, Sanskrit Romanized: amuka māraya phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: So-and-so, kill, Phat!) Clap hands thus. Then, the praise from the text, which is an extension of "Swiftly Acting Avalokiteshvara," should be elaborated, or recited in rotation. Om, may it be accomplished!
