La, after praying thus, from the assembly of deities of the Vajra Body, a multitude of white Hundred Syllable letters emanated. Striking the forehead of the Lama, the Lama's body was afflicted by defilements, and all impairments and breakages of the body's vows were purified. With such faith, recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra. Similarly, apply it to speech and mind, reciting the Hundred Syllable Mantra separately. Then, pray that the body of the precious Lama, the Protector, be cleansed of defilements, and that all impairments and breakages of the body's vows be purified. After praying thus, from the forehead of the Lama, a multitude of white Hundred Syllable letters emanated, dissolving into the forehead of the Protector, and so on, recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra. Transform speech and mind, and explain the categories as above. Lama and Protector are inseparable. Pray for the bodies of the retinue, and so on.
