Having resolved in dreams, during the day, practice the illusory body, and at night, practice the training, increasing, and transforming of dreams, as taught in the Six Dharmas. In short, taking appearances as the path is: In the field of the eye, whether the form is beautiful or not; in the field of the ear, whether the sound is pleasant or not; in the field of the nose, whether the smell is fragrant or not; in the field of the tongue, whether the taste is sweet or not; in the field of the body, whether the touch is smooth or not; in the field of the mind, whatever arises, whether the dharma is pleasing or not, look directly at its essence. Without obstructing appearances, without engaging in grasping, remain unscattered in the state of clear emptiness, free from grasping. By practicing these three dharmas in this way, uncommon devotion to the lama will arise, all appearances will become unreal like bubbles through the self-arising of illusion, dreams will be naturally grasped, and the training, increasing, and transforming of the field of appearances will be stabilized. During the day, Mahamudra will arise clearly and without conceptualization, and at night, the deity's form will self-arise, and clear light will arise without partiality. Since these will occur as they are, practice without doubt! The branch of essence—unerringly taking the lama as the path, taking the yidam as the path, and taking appearances as the path—this instruction was also written by Lungtong the Madman, combining his own experience, in the sacred place of the Great Mountain. The scribe was Kachu Lodro Gyaltsen. These are mainly focused on the stages of meditation, and although they are very concise, meaning can be accomplished by this alone. It is known through meditation. If you want to explain it, you must understand it by referring to the documents of the previous lamas on the basis of the vajra verses. Instructions on the Niguma branch of the immortal body and mind. །Namo Guru. Here, supplement with the essential branch of the immortal body and mind instructions. In order to practice, purify the channels, bindus, and winds with thirty-two wheels. On a comfortable cushion, take a comfortable posture, such as sitting cross-legged or in a comfortable position. First, perform refuge, bodhicitta, and lama yoga, and then think like this: What is called death, is it the death of the body or the death of the mind? If you think it is the death of the body, is it the death of the body of ripening or the death of the body of habit? It is not like the former, because this body is only a collection of flesh, blood, bones, skin, etc., so for it, death

Where is it? If it exists, why don't earth, stones, etc., die? The body of habituation also doesn't die; if it dies, dying in a dream must count as death. If that's the case, those who dream of dying in a dream shouldn't wake up, because there's no revival after death. In short, death is merely labeled as such because the karmic force of previous actions is exhausted, and the mind no longer abides in this body of maturation; therefore, death doesn't actually exist. One should constantly meditate on the body as immortal. If you think the mind will die, then practice this special instruction called 'Mind's Immortality, Natural Liberation.' First, precede it with refuge and bodhicitta. In an instant, visualize yourself on a lotus and sun, above the terrifying Time Goddess, Chakrasamvara with a blue body, right leg extended pressing down on the belly of Time Goddess, left leg bent pressing down on the head of the black Terrifier. One face, two arms, with three eyes, a distorted face, gnashing teeth. The hair is tied in a topknot on the crown of the head, with a jewel at the tip. On the left is a crescent moon. Above the assembly is a variety of vajras. The two hands hold a vajra and bell, embracing the consort. Wearing a garland of five dry human heads, a necklace of fifty wet heads, possessing six bone ornaments, wearing a tiger skin loincloth, with the posture of nine dances. In his lap, the consort Vajravarahi is red, right hand holding a curved knife threatening the wicked, left hand holding a skull cup embracing the father. Naked, three eyes, hair loose. The body is full, breasts protruding. Wearing a dry skull crown and necklace, possessing five bone ornaments, left leg extended and right leg bent, embracing the father. Both are dwelling in the midst of blazing wisdom fire. Visualize clearly. Visualize the lama on his crown and pray. Then, enter into practice, which has three parts. First, the preliminary practice is to visualize a very clear blue Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) at the hairline on the crown of the father deity, radiating blue light. Then, light arises from the Hūṃ, the space between the eyebrows becomes clear and bright. Then, above the nose. The three eyes, clear and sparkling up to the corners of the eyes. Then, gradually, the throat, the heart, the navel.
