It is sufficient to be clear and introduced by the lama. Afterwards, one should ensure that the samaya is not violated by the root and branch downfalls. In particular, since luminosity is the essence of the bindu of wisdom, the white essence should not be diminished even by a hair's breadth. Furthermore, the clearing of obstacles, enhancement, the arising of luminosity, recognition, realization, and the differences between day and night, etc., are all clear in the oral instructions of the previous lamas. These are also the instructions of Niguma: "The arising of luminosity depends on devotion to the lama, the view of great bliss, with and without outflows, the indivisible, non-conceptual bliss-clarity arises spontaneously, the preliminary, main, and subsequent practices should be adorned with the essential points of time." This is the practice. Fifth, enlightenment without practicing transference: Niguma said, "The separation of what is transferred and the one who transfers is the best, the intermediate and the lowest should abandon attachment and aversion, with joy and devotion, focus single-pointedly, project upwards and adorn with aspiration prayers." This is the practice that is taught. The best is transference from the perspective of view, the intermediate is transference from the illusory body, and the lowest is transference through aspiration prayers. The first is that one's own mind, which is the separation of what is transferred and the one who transfers, is free from all extremes of elaboration. Like clear sky, one rests single-pointedly in the state of bliss-clarity and non-conceptuality. This is also called the transference of the Dharmakaya as it is. The second, transference from the illusory body of the intermediate faculty, has two types: transference to the yidam and transference to the lama. The first has two aspects: purification and application to activity. The first is: on the crown of one's head, on a lotus and sun disc, visualize the yidam Chakrasamvara, blue in color, with four faces and twelve arms, embracing his consort. The consort, Vajravarahi, is red, holding a curved knife and skull cup, embracing her consort. Visualize this very clearly. Offerings are made to him. Pray to the yidam glorious Heruka to lead me to the realm of Khechara. Pray intensely in this way. Heruka says, 'Son of the lineage, come up!' Having received permission, one's own mind transforms into a white light, rises up from within the central channel, exits from the crown of the head, and dissolves into the heart of the yidam father and mother. Then, visualize that the yidam father and mother also dissolve into the heart of Chakrasamvara, with four faces and twelve arms, in the Sambhogakaya form in Akanishta. Focus single-pointedly on the white A at his heart. Then, that A becomes a white light.

From above downwards, from one's own Brahmarandhra, enter the central channel. When reaching the heart, visualize it transforming into a white "Ah" syllable and focus on it. Practice this repeatedly. For the superior, the Brahmarandhra will crack open, and pus and blood will flow out; for the intermediate, phenomena such as the Brahmarandhra shaking will occur; for the inferior, the Brahmarandhra will also itch. These are all signs of accomplishment. During these times, consciousness may scatter, so place a precious container on the crown of the head to suppress it, which will prevent scattering. Second, applying it to practice: When struck by the omens of death, offer a tsok and torma to the Lama and Yidam, abandon the three attachments of desire, aversion, and ignorance towards the body, possessions, relatives, and other pleasing objects, and as before, focus single-pointedly, so that the mind does not return to the body. Second, there are also two ways to transfer consciousness to the Lama, first is practice: The preliminary practice is the same as before. On the crown of one's head, visualized as the Yidam, on a lotus and moon seat, visualize the form of the root Lama Vajradhara, with ornaments and attire, etc., like the illusory body as before, offer the seven-branch prayer, and supplicate the Lama Buddha. Repeatedly recite: "Please lead me to the realm of the Dakinis, please bless me to attain the supreme accomplishment of Mahamudra immediately." Having supplicated in this way, and receiving permission as before, one's own mind transforms into a white light, rises up from within the central channel, shoots out from the Brahmarandhra, and dissolves into the Lama's heart, the Lama also dissolves into light, and abides in a state of non-discrimination. Alternatively, the Lama dissolves into the Akanishta heaven, into the heart of Hevajra, etc., as before. Applying it to practice should also be understood according to the previous reasoning. Finally, transferring consciousness through aspiration: For ordinary people, those who are not focused, at the time of death, abandon attachment and aversion, generate pure aspirations such as being reborn in a pure land, and recite the blessed names of the Buddhas, etc. The unerring Dakini transference has separate instructions. The transference instruction for forcibly attaining Buddhahood for great sinners (14b4). Sixth, transforming the Bardo into the Sambhogakaya Buddha. In general, if all the phenomena of Samsara and Nirvana are summarized and explained in terms of the Bardo, there is the Bardo of self-arisen spontaneous accomplishment, the Bardo of Samadhi and meditation.
