Both the upper and lower ends are at the cutting point. To its right is the red Roma channel, and to its left is the white Kyangma channel, both of which are about the size of the central channel cut into four parts. Alternatively, it is also said to be about the size of a wheat awn; however you meditate, it is the same. These two channels run from the crown of the head to four fingers below the navel, alongside the central channel, appearing as if the three are arranged side by side. The upper and lower ends are longer for the Roma and Kyangma channels. Below, the ends of the Roma and Kyangma channels are about four fingers longer than the central channel, and these ends are turned upwards, slightly inserted into the lower end of the central channel. The two upper ends reach about one thumb-width behind the upper end of the central channel. From there, they are folded in two and cover the upper end of the central channel, then bend forward. The end of the Roma channel is inserted into the right nostril, and the end of the Kyangma channel is inserted into the left nostril. Thus, the three channels—Roma, Kyangma, and the central channel—are like three arranged side by side. At the level of the navel, the level of the heart, the level of the swelling of the throat, and the level about two fingers' width down from the upper end of the central channel at the crown of the head, these four points are the centers of the chakras, round like hollow wheels. The three channels—Roma, Kyangma, and the central channel—are like the central tree of life, as if wrapping around the waist with it. From such a center, the petals of the channels arise, appearing as tubular channels, like the ribs of an umbrella. Among them, the navel is the emanation wheel, with sixty-four petals, like umbrella ribs placed face up. The heart is the Dharma wheel, with eight petals, just like umbrella ribs. The throat is the enjoyment wheel, with sixteen petals, like an umbrella being held up. The crown of the head is the **great bliss wheel**, with thirty-two petals, like the ribs of an umbrella. All four wheels have no distinction between outer and inner layers. These numbers are fixed. All the wheels are red, and meditate on them as emitting a bright red light like red-hot iron. Inside the central channel, in the direction of the upper end, visualize the white syllable **Haṃ** (Tibetan: ཧཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हं, Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽), head facing down, which is the nature of bindu, feeling comfortable, cool, and as if about to melt. In the lower end of the central channel, at the junction of the three channels, visualize the red syllable **Raṃ** (Tibetan: རཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: रं, Sanskrit Romanization: raṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 让), head facing up, which is the nature of fire, extremely hot. At a point about four fingers' width from the lower end of the central channel, in the direction of the anus

The mandala of wind, a blue crescent moon, with the nature of movement, serves as a seat. Meditate on all the cut-offs facing forward. Once the basis of visualization is clear and stable, exhale another breath slowly. Then, inhale the upward-moving wind and press it down below the navel. At the same time, contract the lower wind and hold it in conjunction with the navel. If you feel a little uncomfortable, you should relax. That is, without releasing even a bit of the previously held breath, inhale again as little as possible. At the navel, pull and press to the left, right, and center, and hold as much as possible. If you feel uncomfortable again, you should practice using little force at first, more force in the middle, and finally releasing suddenly. Immediately after that, inhale again and meditate as before. Before becoming proficient, if you feel tired, rest between four breaths, or eight, twelve, sixteen, twenty, twenty-four, twenty-eight, or thirty-two breaths. It should not be done arbitrarily. The visualization is: all breaths enter through the nostrils, pass through the path of Ro-kyang, and reach the junction of the three channels below the navel. By contracting the lower wind, a very subtle blue wind rises from the mandala of wind at the anus, standing like a spear, and enters the lower end of the central channel. Thus, the three winds of Ro-kyang and downward-clearing wind unite, blowing on the syllable [རཾ་] (Tibetan: རཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: रं, Sanskrit Romanization: raṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Rang). From the syllable [རཾ་] arises the fire of Tummo wisdom, burning fiercely. Like a burning candle, its tip is extremely thin and sharp, like a red hair. Thin, clear, and radiant, it burns longer and longer. After a few breaths, visualize touching the syllable [ཧཾ་] (Tibetan: ཧཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हं, Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hang) at the crown of the head. Then, gradually, from the melting of the syllable [ཧཾ་], a stream of Bodhicitta descends, like a stretched white silk thread. Visualize it becoming longer and longer, dissolving into the syllable [རཾ་] at the navel. In general, in the practice of Tummo, there are three types: visualizing only the fire, visualizing only the bindu, and visualizing burning and dripping. This is the latter. In the latter, there are also various methods such as fleeing and chasing, like tangled hair, and spreading halfway, but this is the intermediate one. That is, in the center of the central channel, both burning and dripping continue without interruption, which is called placing the center of the central channel inside, with the fire burning in front and the back
