When the joy drawn from the experiences of clarity, emptiness, and non-conceptuality arises, a vast sense of bliss will occur, but there is no need to deliberately mix it with emptiness. Understanding clarity itself as illusory will lead to self-liberation. The experiences of melting bliss must be mixed with emptiness. For example, contemplate the bliss of wisdom in another's body, or the tummo with skillful means in one's own body, or the illusory body's final sense faculty, or the key points of the four drops, or the three objects of focus for holding luminosity. By meditating in this way, it is necessary to mix it with the bliss-warmth that arises from the winds dissolving into the central channel. However, if you say you will mix it as soon as you experience a single instance of bliss, that experience will vanish, so you should not do that. If the bliss comes repeatedly and is stable, then it needs to be mixed. If pride and attachment are not manifest, then simply looking at its own face, while the appearance of bliss has not ceased, without any grasping, relax and let it dissolve, that is sufficient. If attachment and arrogance arise, then you should cultivate the aspiration to see that bliss itself as illusory, and finally, if you rest in the great seal free from the clinging to illusion, it will transform into inseparable bliss and emptiness. In all of these four stages of mixing, whatever activity you do during the breaks between sessions, you must repeatedly, with the gaze of an elephant, stare in amazement and decisively rest in whatever arises. During meditative equipoise, whether the experience of non-conceptual bliss-clarity arises, or when focusing on conceptual objects, it is crucial to rest in the same way at all times. In general, during sessions and breaks, understanding all phenomena such as pleasure and pain, high and low, the eight worldly concerns, as illusory, it is now most important to break the clinging to the concepts of good and bad, high and low, near and far of this worldly chatter. The practice of fifty objects of focus. Fourth, the ultimate: First, in either the luminosity of day or night, at the beginning of the arising of the realization of luminosity, the luminosity of inseparable clarity and emptiness will arise. This is the stage of the path of accumulation. Then, the luminosity of inseparable bliss and emptiness will arise. This is the stage of the path of joining. Then, the luminosity of profound peace, free from elaboration, will arise. This is arriving at the stage of the seven impure grounds. Then, the ultimate luminosity of inseparability will arise. This is the stage of the three pure grounds. After that is the luminosity of dual purity, which is the complete and perfect Buddha.

Is the place of the wisdom dharmakāya. If these meanings are explained in detail, there would be many, but here they are not elaborated. This, in general, is called luminosity, and it is a division of the way to realize the truth of reality. It is not just a distinction of the luminosity of sleep alone. Because this has no separate object of focus, it is not counted among the objects of focus. How appropriate it is, like a single Dharma session. Third, in the subsequent instructions, there are five aspects: vows in general and in particular, dispelling obstacles, self-purification of faults, enhancement, cutting off doubts, recognition of the door of arising of excellence, and the difference between experiential realization day and night. The first is: In general, it is very important that the precepts that one has taken from the three vows are not lost. Pure meditation does not arise for those with transgressions, and even those that have arisen before will be lost if transgressions occur. Among them, it is necessary that the vows of secret mantra are not lost, and are not defiled by root and branch downfalls. If those vows are lost, let alone the hope of meditation, there will be no happiness of higher realms in this life or the next, because one will fall straight into the three lower realms. These are common vows. If one can accomplish all other common subsequent vows, they are also included here. However, one should not disturb the mind with many behavioral sequences of unwavering vows, but from a state inseparable from practice, without separation from devotion to the guru, without losing bodhicitta in all supports, contemplating all ordinary appearances of attachment and aversion as illusory, and not giving in to attachment and aversion, these are the special vows of luminosity. Here, the term luminosity does not only refer to the luminosity of night among the six dharmas, but to all luminosities of day and night. Therefore, it should be understood as the general pervasiveness of blending illusory body, and transference of consciousness and bardo are also branches of blending. This vow is a common vow. Second, dispelling obstacles and self-purification of faults is: In general, various texts on dispelling obstacles related to the path of means have been clarified elsewhere. Here, clarity and emptiness without grasping, appearance and emptiness self-arising, bliss and emptiness without clinging, these are the wisdom of experience. The opposing force of these is the demon of grasping and discursive thoughts running wild. Therefore, contemplate the face of discursive thoughts, and cultivate the recognition of self-liberation, self-purification, and self-emptiness. That also
