La. Thus, pray. This is the definite oral instruction for daytime visualization. In other practices, light radiates from the mantra. When it radiates for the first time, various yidams headed by the Selfless Mother appear. When it radiates for the second time, offer offerings. The first time, radiate from the right nostril, and the second time from the left nostril. Visualize a cushion. In the center of the navel, inside a skull cup, visualize the Selfless Mother. In the center of that, inside the skull cup, visualize the mantra. Radiate light once, from the right nostril. In both methods, there is no retraction of the light. Gathering the light into the mantra, Generating the deity, this appears in the instructions of Serlingpa. The visualization before going to sleep at night is: after visualizing the previous visualization once, offer the four offerings completely. Pray to the yidam deity, "May you, at this time tonight, allow me to see immeasurable Buddha-fields and accomplish great offerings." Say this, and if there is a specific subtle wish, also pray, "May you allow me to see this and that." Then, the Selfless Mother turns her face towards you, and visualize that in the very clear space in front of your heart, the object you wish to see appears as clearly as a reflection in a mirror. In this way, the appearance of objects is established during dreams. It is also said that it is acceptable to visualize a dharmadhatu instead of a skull cup. The forty visualization practices are complete. Second, clarifying the appearance of objects through bindus: the preliminaries are as before. In the center of the body, which is visualized as the deity itself, visualize the central channel, white in color, clear and transparent, with the nature of light, as thick as a small finger. At the upper end is a white ཧཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, haṃ, seed syllable), head pointing downwards. At the lower end is a reddish-blue ཧཱུྃ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, hūṃ, seed syllable), head pointing upwards. In the center of the navel is a short red ཨ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, a, seed syllable), also pointing upwards. After expelling stale air, inhale, and from ཧཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, haṃ, seed syllable), a white bindu the size of a pea descends and reaches the heart. By contracting the lower air, from ཧཱུྃ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, hūṃ, seed syllable), a reddish-blue bindu the size of a bean also descends. By contracting the abdomen and anus, from ཨ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, a, seed syllable), a very red bindu, about half the size of a bean, rises upwards. These two bindus also reach the heart. The three bindus merge into one, white with a reddish tinge, slightly bluish in color, Becoming one. Focus the mind slightly on this shimmering bindu. With the intention of wanting to see the appearance of objects, exhale, and from the bindu in the heart, white and red light radiates, like a thread or

Like a worm, stretch out and come out of the left nostril, going to the place you want to see. Like a light held up in the darkness, clearly see that place, or imagine the light as an empty tube, and you can see by looking from inside it. The vital energy and red and blue bindus in this visualization are oral instructions. This is the forty-first visualization. Third, the A-syllable manifesting the environment: First, visualize the preliminaries and central channel as before. In the center of the central channel, visualize a white A-syllable, with the nature of clear and bright light. With the intention of dreaming, slightly visualize vase-like gentle wind. Then, from the A-syllable, emit a rope of white light, which enters the central channel without obstruction, comes out of the nostril, and goes to the direction you want to see, seeing clearly as if holding up a lamp in the darkness, or viewing from a tube of light, either way is fine. This is the forty-second visualization. These three inferior environment visualizations, it is not necessary for one person to visualize all three, any one is fine, in fact there is no order of priority. When practicing in a group, according to the order of explanation, in the old instruction manuals, first is the Selfless Mother, then the A-syllable manifesting the environment, and then the Bindu manifesting the environment. Here, the order of the latter two is reversed, which is arranged according to the order of the three levels of visualization: extensive, medium, and concise. In the instructions of the Five Stages of Guhyasamaja, etc., Generation, Transformation, and Change are included as part of the training. However, in this Dharma, it is not contradictory to separate them from the training, because there are different emphases on the definition of training. In other Dharmas, all dream training is called training. But here, after the dream is stabilized, in order to generate the ability to transform the dream into various images, one of the methods of generating this ability is called training, and then it is raised from one level to another, and after becoming proficient, the three, Generation, Transformation, and Change, are performed. Viewing the environment is known as the liberation of dreams, and is merely a sign of the arising of qualities. There is also the saying, quoted from other instructions, that combines training into one, which refers to the luminosity of dreams, etc.
