Bala variegated Vajra. Above, a nine-storied pavilion is erected. On the central seat is the Bhagavan Glorious Vajrabhairava, with a body of dark blue-black color, nine faces, thirty-four arms, and sixteen legs. The root face is black, with the face of a buffalo, extremely wrathful. Emitting a great sound of "Phat (藏文: ཕེཾ་，梵文天城体: फट्，梵文罗马拟音: phaṭ，汉语字面意思: 呸)" like a roaring dragon. Above that is the red face of a Rakshasa, grinning and gnashing its teeth. Above that is the yellow face of Manjushri, smiling and slightly wrathful, adorned with youthful ornaments. The first face on the right horn is blue, the second is red, and the third is yellow; these three are the faces of the Lord, extremely wrathful. The first face on the left horn is white, the second is smoke-colored, and the third is black; all three faces are also gnashing their teeth. The eyebrows, beards, and hair of all the wrathful faces are reddish-yellow and stand upright. The last two hands hold the wet elephant hide, complete with blood. The first two hands hold the emblems above and below at the heart, making the threatening gesture towards the deities of the world and beyond. Of the sixteen legs, the eight on the right are bent, trampling in order on a human, a buffalo, an ox, a donkey, a mule, a dog, a sheep, and a fox. The eight on the left are extended, trampling in order on a vulture, an owl, a hawk, a crow, a parrot, a garuda, a wagtail, and a kite. Beneath them, yellow Brahma, white Indra, blue Upendra, and black Narayana are prostrate and face down. Each head is adorned with five dry skulls, and wears a necklace of fifty wet, bleeding skulls, six bone ornaments, is adorned with snakes, has a great pile of ashes, is marked with drops of blood, is painted with patterns of fat, and possesses the flavor of the nine dances.
