Having imposed beatings and scoldings, praise and criticism are no different. Like that, one's own body is also the same. Speech is like an echo. Thinking of the mind's thoughts as like mistaking a mirage for water. In speech: This image in the mirror has no liking or disliking, no beauty or ugliness, no pleasantness or unpleasantness. One's own body is also the same as that, speech and mind are like echoes and mirages. Thus, recite and meditate. 2. Third, enhancing: Having done that, the liking and disliking of praise and criticism, etc., are suppressed and stabilized. First, have someone familiar, like a lama or Dharma brother, do various praises and criticisms. Then, go to a place where many people gather, such as a market, and do various high and low behaviors. See if there is any difference in how others praise and criticize, scold, like, and dislike. If there is a difference, go back to a secluded place, strongly pray to the lama and the Three Jewels, and meditate again. To clarify this within the boundaries, recite: These men and women are all like dreams. These words of praise and criticism are like echoes. Isn't the mind that sees, hears, and experiences like a deer mistaking a mirage for water? Thus, recite and meditate. 3. Second, purification: Allow the image of the deity's body to appear in the mirror. Just like that image, one's own body is also a deity's body that is empty and without inherent existence. Although it appears, it is not established as true. All sentient beings are also deities appearing but only without inherent existence. All the outer world is also a celestial palace appearing but without inherent existence. The sound of speech mantras is like an echo. The wavering of the mind is just like a mirage, this is great bliss, self-liberated. In the palace, what is there to be happy or unhappy about? In the deity's body, what is there to be attached to or averse to, and what is there to praise or criticize? In the sound of mantras, what place is there for liking and disliking to arise? Thus, think. In speech: All these forms and appearances, including one's own body, are like the image of the deity's body, appearance and emptiness inseparable. Therefore, where have the places where thoughts of attachment, aversion, praise, criticism, liking, and disliking arise disappeared to? Thus, recite and meditate. 4. Regarding these meditations on the illusory body, in detail, as mentioned above, in the stage of stabilization, meditate on the body as an image, do one session. Go to a place where there is an echo, meditate on speech as an echo,
