Then, inhale deeply, impacting the Ashad (Tibetan: ཨ་ཤད་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अशद्, Sanskrit Romanization: ashad, Chinese literal meaning: Ashad), causing the Ashad to ignite. The flame is about the size of two fingers, shaped like a mustard seed or the vulva of a female leopard, thin at the base and thick in the middle. The nature of earth is rough, the nature of water is oily, the nature of fire is hot, and the nature of wind is mobile, possessing four characteristics. Visualize generating unbearable heat and the comfort of melting, while practicing the retention and release of breath. Then, similarly, practice between the third and fourth fingers, establishing a firm foundation of bliss and warmth. Some believe that clearly visualizing letters on the four chakras is the intent of bliss and joy, but it is not mentioned in most treatises on the Six Dharmas of Naropa. Third, generating stable signs is threefold: generating the sign of warmth, generating the sign of bliss, and generating the sign of non-discrimination. First, there are two aspects: the object of focus and the adjustment of the body. First, igniting the fire below the navel is called extending the lower body. Visualize the lower body of your own deity, with the soles of the feet touching the golden earth. Otherwise, there is a risk of obstacles such as numbness in the legs. The body posture and so on are as before. By blowing air on the root fire, gradually increase the flame, burning to about eight fingers in length, and focus the object of attention on the root fire. Similarly, gradually burn within the central channel, from below the heart, below the throat, and below the crown, combining with sensations. Some believe that fire should not be ignited above the throat, but there is no fault in this case of fire visualization solely for generating the sign of warmth. Then, slender flames like a horse's tail enter the petals of the navel chakra, burning the tips of the petals equal to the number of pores. Similarly, gradually burn in the petals of the heart, throat, and crown chakras, visualizing red flames blazing from all the pores of the body. Tighten the body and mind and practice, and signs will arise. At the end of the session, gather the focus on the root Ashad (Tibetan: ཨ་ཤད་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अशद्, Sanskrit Romanization: ashad, Chinese literal meaning: Ashad). If it is still difficult to generate warmth, or only a faint warmth arises, the body posture is as before, with both palms covering both elbows, both elbow bends covering both knees, and the hands crossed from the outside of the legs, holding both big toes.

Do your best, tighten and restrain the whole body, do right rotation, left rotation, right twist, left twist, right bend, left bend, forward extension, backward extension, upward pull, downward pull, etc., increase the number of times quickly, and strongly coordinate the wind. When you feel that each wind sac cannot bear it, take three small breaths, and then gradually tighten the three places below the navel, left, right, and front, and keep the middle wind for a long time. The visualization is: all the veins in the body are filled with a mixture of fire and smoke, a reddish-yellow hot touch, and rotate in it, or do not visualize the veins, but visualize the entire abdomen filled with these and rotating. Visualize the central channel from the crown of the head to the secret place, from the flame of which produces very hot smoke, emerging from the crown of the head, like an umbrella downwards, emerging from the secret place, meeting on the lotus petals, covering the whole body. Or visualize the fire of the central channel emerging from the two places of the crown of the head and the secret place, like a curved iron hook, meeting and merging at the waist position of the spine. Or visualize all the pores emitting fire outwards, like wearing clothes of fire. Or visualize from the four external directions, the extremely hot light of the four intense suns mixing with the body's fire heat, the body becoming an unbearable hot touch like an iron pot being melted, like boiling. Practice these visualizations in sequence. In all cases, focus on the mind and concentrate on the Asha of the veins. Although there are many kinds of non-visualization sequences, all the key points are contained here, so it will definitely produce results. Generally speaking, the forceful Tummo constrained by strong wind wheels, although it seems that entering the generation of heat is fast, the merits are unstable and the use is small. By combining experience and gradually practicing visualization, the heat generated slowly has stable merits and great use, so it is good to persist in practice. In this case, even if it is cold, do not wear fur and heavy clothes, and even if it is hot, do not be naked, wear a few thin clothes, and gradually take them off as soon as heat is generated. Do not approach fire and the sun, and do not blow conch shells, etc. You must practice the middle wind for a long time, control the wind in your mouth, eat warm and nourishing food, and it is very important to protect Bodhicitta. After practicing in this way, the ways of generating heat are: heat radiating from the junction of muscles and skin, a certain part of the body
