The illusory body in terms of meaning, and meditating on a deity's form as an illusion, is a special illusory body. In the expanse of clear light, the arising of a deity's form as an illusion solely from wind and mind is considered its most hidden meaning of the illusory body. The way to maintain experience after the instructions on the illusory body are complete is as follows: Some say that one should train in the pure illusory body in meditative equipoise and in post-meditation train the appearance of the environment and beings as illusory. However, first, one must train the appearance of the environment and beings as illusory, thereby equalizing the eight worldly concerns and gaining the experience of the appearance of things as illusory. Then, in meditative equipoise, one should meditate on the deity's form as an illusion and train in its emanation and reabsorption, and the way it enters and arises in clear light. In subsequent awareness and post-meditation, when appearances of the environment and beings arise, one should train them as celestial mansions and deities, and so on. Meditating on the illusory body is like meditating on inner heat as previously explained in the early session, but meditating on it as an illusion transforms it into the yoga of the subtle points of the deity's illusory body. Then, during the meditative equipoise, emanation and reabsorption, entry and arising, etc., of the deity's illusory body, it is good to meditate with the application of gentle winds. By meditating in this way, at first, the experience of all appearances as devoid of inherent existence arises. Then, realization manifests, and one becomes unharmed by fire, water, poison, weapons, cliffs, etc. Common siddhis such as the four activities and the eight great accomplishments arise, and supreme siddhis such as attaining the illusory body in this life or in the bardo are said to be obtained. The third, the heat of the path, the instructions on dream yoga, has four parts: causing what has not been grasped to be grasped, causing what has been grasped not to be grasped, increasing what is stable, and pointing out the way to maintain experience. The first has four parts: the preliminaries for seizing dreams, the method for seizing dreams, the actual seizing of dreams, and the way to increase it if it is not accomplished. The first is: one must abandon the causes of not seizing dreams and accomplish the causes of seizing them. If vows are broken, one will not seize them, so confess with the meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva. Restore vows by requesting empowerment from the lama and taking empowerment oneself. If devotion to the lama and secret mantra is small, one will not seize them.

Therefore, one should have intense devotion to the Guru and offer a mandala. Make offerings and conduct a tsok khor to the Yidam. Offer torma to the protectors. Pray that the dream yoga may arise in the mind-stream, that conducive conditions may be accomplished, and that obstacles may be pacified. If there is too much attachment to objects, one will not be able to grasp it, so one should completely abandon possessions, cut off the ties of this life, and have no attachment to anything. If one is defiled or the Bodhicitta declines, one will not be able to grasp it, so one should abandon impure places, friends, food, clothing, and so on. Purify oneself and possessions, maintain cleanliness, and protect the Bodhicitta from declining. Furthermore, if one is too distracted or the desire is weak, one will not be able to grasp it, so one should strictly confine oneself in very secluded places such as empty valleys, and abandon the appearance of actions and so on. For all appearances, such as the outer and inner world, one should hold the concept that "this is a dream." And one should repeatedly generate the strong desire to somehow grasp the dream at night. Secondly, then perform the special preliminaries and meditate on Tummo for one-third of the session. Then, as in the case of illusory body, generate Bodhicitta and visualize the Guru in the throat. Pray intensely to grasp the dream and to generate the dream yoga in the mind-stream. Then, in the center of the throat chakra, visualize a white Om (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) in the center of a four-petaled lotus, with a blue Ah (藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:阿) in front, a yellow Nu (藏文:ནུ,梵文天城体:नु,梵文罗马拟音:nu,汉语字面意思:努) on the right, a red Ta (藏文:ཏ་,梵文天城体:त,梵文罗马拟音:ta,汉语字面意思:达) in the back, and a green Ra (藏文:ར,梵文天城体:र,梵文罗马拟音:ra,汉语字面意思:ra) on the left, clear and radiant, and endowed with the experience of bliss. If you don't like it, you can just visualize a red Om (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) in the center of the lotus. Then, meditate on the wind-mind combination as much as possible, focusing single-pointedly on the Om Alternatively, you can practice Vajra recitation with three stages of entering, abiding, and exiting the Om Some people think that this should not be meditated on during sessions except when going to sleep, but this is not seeing the point. By meditating in this way during all the main parts of the session while awake, the wind-mind will gather in the throat, and it will be easier to gather the wind-mind there during sleep. And, relying on it, there are many key points such as increasing dreams, clarity, and grasping dreams, so you must meditate with single-pointed concentration. If through this combination, you can cause the wind to dissolve into the central channel, and if you can generate the four emptinesses from the dissolution, then it is most praised. Then
