It is. The Lama Yidam is the main deity, and all Buddhas with their retinues, all the heroes and yoginis, please all be mindful of me. I, who am called so-and-so, until I have not attained the unsurpassed Bodhi, I take refuge in the Three Jewels. Repeat three times as in the common ritual. In particular, taking the vows of mantra is: The Lama Yidam is the main deity, and all Buddhas with their retinues, all the heroes and yoginis, please all be mindful of me. I, who am called so-and-so, from this very moment, until I have not attained Bodhi, just as the protectors of the three times, are determined in Bodhi, the unsurpassed and supreme Bodhicitta, I will generate. The precepts of moral discipline, accumulating virtuous Dharmas, and the three disciplines that benefit sentient beings, I will firmly uphold each separately. The Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, are the unsurpassed Three Jewels, the vows born from Buddha Yoga, I will firmly uphold from now on. To the great lord of the Vajra family, the Vajra bell and mudra also, I will truly uphold. I will also uphold the teachers. To the great lord of the Ratna family, the pleasing vows, every day in six times, I will always give the four kinds of generosity. From the great Bodhi arising, in the pure great Lotus family, the outer, inner, and secret three vehicles, I will uphold all the supreme Dharmas. To the great lord of the Karma family, possessing all the vows, I will truly uphold. I will also do my best in the work of offerings. The supreme and unsurpassed Bodhicitta, I have generated, for the benefit of all sentient beings, I will uphold all the vows. Those who have not been liberated, I will liberate, those who have not been freed, I will free, those who have not breathed, I will let breathe, and lead sentient beings to Nirvana. Eleventh, opening the eyes: Think that you are removing the film of ignorance together with the eyes, and make the mudra. Yogini, glorious one, please strive to open your eyes today. The Vajra eye is unsurpassed, by opening it, wisdom is seen. Twelfth, showing the vision of the mandala: The supreme city of great liberation, look, look, great bodhisattva, look at this good mandala. Wherever the flower falls, that is your deity, generate great faith in it, bless it with mantra and mudra. Whatever sins were committed in countless eons before, as soon as you see this mandala, they will be exhausted, if you recite the endless names, and abide in the proper way, what need is there to say? If you recite the secret mantra of protection, you will attain the unsurpassed state. Great beings, you have attained the unparalleled achievement today, therefore you all become fortunate ones.
