My thoughts have not been established either; appearances are self-liberated in the realm of Dharma; concepts are self-liberated as great wisdom; non-duality and equality are the Dharmakaya. Like the flow of a great river, the second is the meaning of Mahamudra of samsara and nirvana. Whatever is practiced is meaningful; this is the constant Buddha; samsara is without a place, great bliss. All dharmas, the third is the meaning of the ultimate Mahamudra, each empty of its own nature; the mind that grasps emptiness subsides in its own place; without mind, not thinking about it; this is the path of all Buddhas. To the fortunate ones, the final instruction and dedication are given. I have condensed the heart's words into verses. By this, may all beings abide in the great Mahamudra. From the great scholar Naropa, it was given to Marpa Chokyi Lodro at Phullahari. Thus, these thirteen verses have gathered and shown all of Mahamudra. The distinctions of objects should be made in accordance with the meaning, and the details should be learned from the master. Do not trust the confused ones, and do not think of correcting this, as it is written according to the pure old copies. These names were made by Shamarpa Pelkhachod Wangpo. He also said, "The instructions of Mahamudra should be known from the essence of the instructions." Thus, the vajra words of the master Naropa, are the meaning of all the instructions of Mahamudra, which is recognized by the former holy ones who hold this lineage. The vajra words of the glorious Naropa. The essential instructions of Mahamudra in brief verses, combined with the scriptural authority of the tantras, a small commentary that is easy to understand, mainly explained. Homage to the Guru! The essential verses of Naropa's Mahamudra have three parts: the beginning, the main body, and the conclusion. The beginning has two parts: stating the title and paying homage. The first is: In the language of India: Mahamudra Upadesa. In Tibetan: The Essential Verses of Mahamudra. As it is said: "From the Tantra of the Bindu of Mahamudra: Listen, goddess, Mahamudra, Mahamudra is a great secret, Inexpressible, inexhaustible, unborn, All that has form is without form, The formless is the supreme of form, Separate from gross and subtle, Its nature is immeasurable." In the title it says: A.

The best of all letters, the sacred letter of great meaning, arises from within, without birth, abandoning verbal expression, it is the best cause of all expressions. From the Root Tantra of Supreme Bliss. Hereafter, the great secret is to be explained, it is concise, not extensive. Thus, Mahamudra pervades all three: base, path, and result, transcends all realms of mental activity, and is the supreme Dharma among the three mudras, it is unsurpassed, it is what is to be explained. Words are what explain, although in ultimate truth they cannot be expressed, in conventional truth they represent the suchness of all things. Concise means to show the essence of the meaning in a concise manner. Second, I prostrate to the state of great bliss. As it is said, in the Two Sections of Hevajra, it has no beginning, no middle, no end, no craving, no nirvana, this is the supreme great bliss, without self and without other. And, self-awareness is great bliss, from self-awareness arises enlightenment. In the Conduct of Yoginis, wherever great bliss is called, it is only one, and with the experience of oneness, it performs the dance of many. In the Five Stages, just as water is put into water, just as butter is put into butter, in one's own self-aware wisdom, whatever is seen well is the prostration here. Therefore, great bliss is, the unchanging wisdom of one's own mind, the nature of the inconceivable, and to remain in equipoise in that state is the ultimate prostration. Second, the meaning of the text is fourfold: view, meditation, conduct, and result. The first has three parts, the first of which is the explanation of appearance as the meaning of Mahamudra. What Mahamudra explains is, all phenomena are one's own mind, seeing external objects as real is a delusion, like a dream, empty of substance. As it is said, in the Vajra Tent Tantra, outside of the precious mind, there is no Buddha, and no sentient being, for the meaning of the place of consciousness, there is nothing external. In Hevajra, because of delusion, there is the form of samsara, without delusion, samsara is pure. And, in any world realm, another Buddha cannot be found, the mind is the perfect Buddha, and another Buddha cannot be shown. And, in the Kalachakra, sentient beings are Buddhas, because Buddhas
