Therefore, if one does not develop attachment and clinging to their own respective doctrines, they will realize Mahamudra, realize the suchness of all dharmas, and be able to comprehend it. From "The vows of guarding against conceptualization are lost from their meaning" to "Not transgressing vows is the lamp of darkness," it is like the aforementioned, merely establishing a basis for accumulating merit in worldly appearances, and although it is said that one can attain Buddhahood through this, if one does not keep the essential meaning in mind, then virtuous deeds will not bring the slightest benefit, and evil deeds will not eliminate the slightest harm. If one comprehends and realizes the clear light that is free from all attachment and desire, then all dharmas of samsara and nirvana will become of one taste in equality, and all the gatherings of realization that arise in one's mind will not cause harm, except to become companions of the Dharmakaya of equality. That is, no matter what conceptual thoughts arise in one's mind, just as when a great ocean is stirred by the wind, waves arise and disappear, so too are the conceptual thoughts of the mind. One thought arises after another, the latter arises and the former ceases, but since the root is nothing other than one's own mind, if one does not move from that very nature, and abides equally without any object of focus, and does not deviate from that meaning, then one will comprehend the lamp of all dharmas, which is the ultimate truth, just as lighting a lamp in the darkness. If one is free from all desires and does not abide in extremes, then one will see all the teachings of the Tripitaka. The meaning of "attachment" is that if one can be free from all attachment and clinging to samsara and nirvana, gods and gurus, etc., and does not abide in the two extremes, then one will see all the Tripitaka. If one focuses on this meaning, one will be liberated from the prison of samsara. From "If one focuses on this meaning, one will be liberated from the prison of samsara" to "If blessings enter the heart, then one's own mind will be liberated," if one believes in and practices the meaning of the Mahamudra of the mind's true nature, then one will be liberated from the ocean of suffering of samsara, and all that is called sin and obscuration will be burned away, therefore it is the lamp of the teachings.

It is also called "E." Those fools who do not believe in the meaning of Mahamudra will never be able to escape from the great river of Samsara, and will experience unimaginable suffering in the realms of suffering. Because they are objects of compassion, in order for all beings to be liberated from them, when they obtain a human body, they should attend upon a Lama who is learned and endowed with blessings. If the blessings of that Lama enter into oneself, one will realize the meaning of Mahamudra. This is its meaning. "Alas! This Dharma of Samsara is the source of meaningless suffering. The Dharma that has been done has no essence, so look at the meaningful essence." From here to "If there is no hope or fear, the fruit will manifest," the so-called "Dharma of Samsara" refers to the roots of virtue of compounded phenomena that rely on the accumulation of merit. Because one does not realize the nature of emptiness that clarifies the meaning of Mahamudra, therefore, "Look at the meaningful essence." This is its meaning. Experiencing such a meaning is to realize that which is beyond all objects of grasping and being grasped, and that is the king of views. If one practices without distraction, nothing can harm one. If one meditates on that meaning, that is the great king of meditation. That which transcends the activity and effort of both of them is the great king of conduct. That which has no hope or fear for all of them is the manifestation of the fruit. "Transcending the object of focus, the nature of mind is clear." From here to "If one is accustomed to having no object of meditation, one will attain unsurpassed enlightenment." The so-called "object of focus" refers to meditating on deities, reciting mantras, and so on. If one transcends all those objects of focus, the meaning of the mind's nature, which is without focus, will become clear, and thus one will obtain the path to liberation, without the Lesser Vehicle, etc., and attain the path to Buddhahood. If one is accustomed to having no object of meditation, one will attain what is called unsurpassed enlightenment. "Alas! Think well about worldly dharmas..." From here to "Likewise, if the root of the mind is cut, the branches of Samsara will wither." The so-called "world"...
