Then, like the King of Listening, I prostrate at the feet of the Lama. By whom the needs and desires of beings, are fulfilled as wished, like a precious jewel, I prostrate at the feet of the Lama. By whom all phenomena, are pervaded without separation or union, like the sky, the Lama who possesses wisdom, I prostrate at his feet. By whose grace, the nature of great bliss, arises in an instant, the Lama's body like a precious jewel, I prostrate at the lotus feet of Vajradhara. Lama is Buddha, Lama is Dharma, likewise Lama is Sangha, the doer of all is Lama, I prostrate at the feet of the Lama. Protector, great compassionate one, omniscient teacher, field of merit and qualities, I prostrate to the Tathagata. Pure cause of detachment, liberating from evil destinies through virtue, the ultimate supreme truth, the peaceful Dharma, I prostrate. Having liberated, also shows the path of liberation, greatly respects the trainings, the supreme field, the source of merit, I also prostrate to the Sangha. I prostrate to the lineage of profound view. I prostrate to the lineage of vast conduct. I prostrate to the lineage of practice and blessing. I prostrate to glorious Atisha. From Maitreya, the precious blessing of the lineage, Jowo (Atisha) and his disciples, the precious qualities, the Dharma treasure of the Kadam lineage, I prostrate to all the Lamas of the lineage. Thus, as said in the "Samantabhadra's Prayer of Conduct", "In all the worlds of the ten directions", until "I praise all the Sugatas", reciting these, with reverence and great reverence, make as many prostrations as possible. That is, as the Buddha said: Joining palms at the chest and between the eyebrows is called reverence. Joining palms at the crown of the head is called great reverence. And so on. Second, offering. The present Rinpoche said: "Like the seven offerings etc. spoken of in the 'Samantabhadra's Prayer of Conduct'." The first of these, the offering of seeing the body, upon rising, immediately, like this, the Lama, the virtuous friend, and the faces of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, seeing them directly, and the supports of their body, speech, and mind, there is no slight difference in seeing these, the support offering.

These are solely the lama, and the power of blessings from Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. The true emanation manifested by oneself, with the manifestation of the root consciousness, such is the assembly of noble ones. Although there are countless manifested rebirths, this time the supreme attainment is a very good attainment. Thus speaking, with sincere and unwavering devotion from the heart, looking at the actual offerings arranged, it is said to eliminate immeasurable sins and obscurations. The second is the offering of praise: the praise of one's own lama, the virtuous spiritual friend, and the praise of Jowo (Shakyamuni Buddha statue) composed by Dromtönpa Rinpoche, "The land of Bengal, perfectly endowed." etc., do as much as possible the praises of the Kadampa new and old schools' lamas. If one does not know or is not skilled, then just do the praise of Jowo, or in summary: Having completely abandoned all faults of wrongdoing, possessing all good qualities, the source of all benefit, happiness, and prosperity, I praise you, the glorious lama. For the sake of maturing and liberating those to be tamed, all Buddhas of the three times, manifesting various emanations in the manner of guiding, I prostrate to the glorious lama. Although your body is without flesh and blood, it is a body of wisdom manifestation, becoming the supreme cause of faith, I praise you, the lord of body. Although there is no effort to want to speak, yet with the sixty branches of melodious speech, you proclaim the profound and vast meaning, I praise you, the lord of speech. Although free from the elaboration of the knower and the known, it is the mind that illuminates the sphere of the knowable, a treasure of compassion, retention, and eloquence, I praise you, the lord of mind. Even a mere fraction of the qualities, beings, even if described for eons, cannot exhaust, eyes and clairvoyance, miraculous powers, etc., I praise you, the lord of qualities. Seeing, hearing, and remembering are meaningful, if one approaches, liberation is certain, what need is there to mention serving, I praise you, the lord of unceasing, spontaneously accomplished activity. All the perfections of samsara and nirvana, arise from the sacred Dharma, and that also arises from you, I praise you, the source of benefit and happiness. Knowing everything as it is, having abandoned the obscurations of afflictions and knowledge, becoming the supreme among the two-legged, I praise you, the perfectly enlightened Buddha. Your mind is the sacred Dharma of realization, it is the teaching that is consistent with speech.
