Due to its power, it is reasonable in terms of form but not in terms of sound. Emptiness is form. Emptiness is also not different from form. Form is also not different from emptiness. Thus, it is said in the way of the profound emptiness of the four unions. So it is. The reason why the lower schools of thought cannot attain the ultimate is also stated in the Ratnavali: "As long as there is clinging to the aggregates, there is clinging to self. If there is clinging to self, there is also karma. From that (karma) there is also birth (in samsara)." As it is said, the innate clinging to self, which clings to the aggregates as being inherently existent, is the root of samsara, because it cannot be abandoned. Here, the difference between the Prasangikas and Svatantrikas in terms of the subtlety of what is to be refuted by the reason that examines ultimate reality is: The Prasangikas believe that all phenomena are established only by the power of conceptual thought, and if something were not established only by the power of conceptual thought but were established from its own side from the beginning, it would become truly established. The Svatantrikas believe that phenomena cannot be established merely by the power of conceptual thought, but are established by the power of appearance to an unimpaired consciousness. Moreover, they believe that the pot to be measured by the unimpaired consciousness that establishes the pot is something that is established from the beginning in a way that is independent of that consciousness. And they believe that being established in that way is the meaning of the pot being established from its own side. The Prasangikas, on the other hand, believe that the pot itself is not established from the beginning independently of the valid cognition that measures it, but that the pot and the valid cognition that measures the pot are established in dependence on each other. As it is said in the Prasannapada: "If there are valid cognitions, then there will be objects to be measured; if there are objects to be measured, then there will be the meaning of valid cognitions. Valid cognitions and objects to be measured are not inherently existent." For this reason, all phenomena are not established from the beginning, but are suddenly established by the power of the conceptual thought that imputes them. As Lord Atisha said: "A causeless child is sudden. Meaningless appearance emptiness is not an object of investigation, it is merely appearance, rely on it and put aside questions. If you investigate conventionalities, they will be destroyed." For this reason. Furthermore, if the Prasangikas investigate whether a person is each individual aggregate of a person, or the collection of aggregates, or whether there is another person who is different from the aggregates, then, a little

And there is no exhaustion. Finding it in this way and not finding it means that the person is not truly existent; but it does not mean that the person does not exist at all. If you search like this and do not find it, then stay single-mindedly in the state of not finding it. If the clinging weakens, then another wise person should examine it as before and restore the strength of the clinging, and after examining it again and again, also stay slightly equally. When you search for the imputed meaning and do not find it, it is not the case that you should add the distinction of what is to be refuted, thinking that it does not exist by its own nature, and meditate on it, etc., which are explained in detail elsewhere. Secondly, the measure of the view arising in the mind is: When there is no alternation, in an instant, from the mere sight of the infallible interdependence, if all the clinging to the object is destroyed, then at that time the examination of the view is complete. It is said. If you practice the view described earlier, at some time, the understanding that all the actions of the conventional appearance side, such as the arising of the fruit depending on the cause, appear to be reasonable and infallible, and all the phenomena of samsara and nirvana, such as cause and effect, do not exist by their own nature even to the slightest extent, like illusory horses and elephants and the actions of dreams, although they appear, their essence is emptiness, if you gain one of these two understandings in your mind, the other understanding will be reversed, and without alternating them, in the face of the mind, appearance and emptiness in an instant, seeing the infallible interdependence with the wisdom of pure reasoning is only the function of seeing, and based on this, a definite understanding arises in the view, and it is able to destroy all the clinging to the object existing by its own nature without any remainder, at that time, the hearing and thinking examination of the view is complete, that is, the pure view has arisen in the mind. It is said. As it is also said in the Bodhicitta Explanation: Knowing that all phenomena are empty, whatever depends on karma and its results, this is more wonderful than wonderful, this is more amazing than amazing. And as Jowo (Atisha) said: With this discrimination, you can know everything, do not establish a groundless nature, now when various appearances arise, do not cling to anything because there is nothing, therefore, happiness and suffering, etc., no matter how many discriminations gather, are only appearances, only showing a little of what truly exists.
