And it is very important to have wisdom. For example, the commentary says: As soon as the tongue touches food, it can immediately feel all the flavors of the food. If you put a spoon in the food, you can't feel the taste. Similarly, a wise person can effortlessly understand the meaning of all the Dharma. If you don't have wisdom, even if you are always with the Dharma, you will not be able to understand the meaning of the Dharma. Therefore, wisdom is very important, and you must strive to create the causes for increasing wisdom. The main cause of increasing wisdom is hearing, thinking, and meditating. Therefore, rely on a qualified lama who is skilled in distinguishing right from wrong, and listen to the profound definitive scriptures, strive to accumulate merit and purify obscurations, and pray strongly to the lama and yidam as inseparable. Meditate on the Madhyamaka treatises until they are thoroughly understood. It is also very important to give alms of needles, ink pens, etc., and to give alms of Mahayana Dharma in order to increase wisdom in the future. Second, there are three parts to the actual teaching of the view that is sought: the actual teaching of the view, the extent to which the view arises in the mind, and the Dharma of the view. The first part has two points: if one realizes that appearance and emptiness are inseparable, it indicates that one has entered the path that pleases the Buddhas; if one clings to appearance and emptiness as separate, it indicates that one has not realized the Buddhas' intention. The first point is: Whatever samsara and nirvana, all dharmas, Seeing that cause and effect never deceive, If all objects of attachment are destroyed, That is entering the path that pleases the Buddhas. As it is said, for those who seek the path of liberation, whether it is samsara, which is encompassed by the truth of suffering, or nirvana, which is encompassed by the truth of purification, the cause of all dharmas, that is, afflictions and karma, depends on the truth of the origin, and produces the result, that is, the truth of suffering; depending on the truth of the path, such as the three trainings, the result is the nature of the truth of cessation, and so on. All that can be established and all that can be produced, at any time, can be proven by valid cognition to be non-deceptive. And, if such cause and effect are analyzed in detail with the wisdom of ultimate truth, just as a chariot is merely imputed to an aggregate of parts, except for the chariot

When, like observing the absence of an object of focus, all objects of focus that are grasped as characteristics of true establishment dissolve in their own place, and one realizes that in ultimate reality, there is not even the slightest bit of inherent existence, then one has entered the supreme path that pleases all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the three times, the view of Prasangika Madhyamaka, which is free from all extremes of permanence and annihilation. As it is said in the Root Verses: "Whatever is dependently arisen is explained as emptiness. That is dependently designated. That is the Middle Way." This is the intention. If one seeks the meaning of designation in all phenomena, one will not find even a particle that is truly established, but it abides in its own nature of emptiness. However, the way things appear is that the cause and effect of dependent origination appear unfailingly. Therefore, although there is no truth in meaning, there is no obstruction to the unfailing and manifest way of appearing. Just as from the dependent origination of a mirror and a gathering, the image is not truly in the face, but the image of the face appears clearly and undeniably. As it says in the Sutra of Meeting Father and Son: "Just as in a perfectly pure mirror, how the image without inherent existence appears, so know the trees and all phenomena." The various dependent arisings appear like images, and the knowledge that they are empty of inherent existence is not contradictory. It is like an image conjured by magic, which, although known to be untrue, appears unhindered before one's eyes. As it says in the Entering the Middle Way: "Substantial entities, emptiness, like images and so forth, are not unestablished in dependence on a collection. Just as there, images and so forth are empty, but consciousness arises as their aspect, so likewise, although all entities are empty, they will arise completely from emptiness." Thus it is. Furthermore, for noble individuals who directly see the truth, no matter what kind of happiness or suffering appears, no form of intolerance or attachment arises. However, as long as we ordinary beings have not directly seen the truth, we cannot tolerate even the slightest suffering, which is the fact we are experiencing now. Therefore, we must abandon even the smallest sins and cultivate even the smallest virtues. Just as knowing that dreams are not true in meaning
