If one understands the meaning of emptiness and puts it into practice, then even through the five perfections, one can obtain the name of "perfection" and be able to go to the state of omniscience. As it is said: "How great are the qualities of the five perfections? All of them depend on the perfection of wisdom." And: "Wisdom goes before generosity; so it is with morality, patience, diligence, and meditation." The meaning of what is said here is that if one does not eliminate the object of attachment to the belief in truth when discriminating the meaning of Dharma with wisdom, then even if one extensively learns other perfections, one will not be able to realize selflessness. Among the two wisdoms that realize selflessness, the selflessness of the person is mainly taught. In the Great Insight, it says: "The order of how to enter into suchness is that first one must think about the faults of samsara and become disgusted, and one must have a desire to get rid of it. Then, seeing that it will not turn back if the cause is not reversed, one must think about what the root of samsara is, and by investigating its root, one must be convinced from the bottom of one's heart that the view of self or ignorance is the root of samsara, and one must have a desire to abandon it that is not artificial. Then, seeing that the reversal of the view of self depends on the arising of the wisdom that realizes the selflessness of what is grasped as definite, one must see that that self must be refuted, and one must rely on the scriptures and reasoning that harm the existence of that self and prove its non-existence, and one must find certainty. If one seeks liberation, then there is no way to do without it. In this way, having found the view of certainty that there is not even a little bit of nature in self and what belongs to self, by familiarizing oneself with its meaning, one will attain the Dharmakaya." And so on, it is extensively taught with the scriptures of the Clear Words. In this way, if one realizes that self is without nature, then the belief in truth in all dharmas, such as the five aggregates from form to omniscience, will also implicitly disappear. For example, if a chariot is burned, then all its limbs, such as the wheels, will be burned without remainder. As it is said in the Clear Words: "Just as when a chariot is burned, its limbs are also not visible because they are burned, so too, when a yogi perfects selflessness, at that very time, the object of the aggregates, what belongs to self, will also be realized as selfless." Thus, to realize this, wisdom is profound.
